Abstract One of novel manners to achieve sustainable development is concentrating on circular economy in order manage greenhouse gas emissions, energy consumption, and waste. It also helps protect the environment optimize usage input resources. The main element closed‐loop supply chain which covers both forward reverse products flows. This study aims outsource logistics operations a chain. An innovative analytical multi‐step fuzzy decision‐making method proposed rank third‐party service providers (3PLSPs). Fuzzy Decision‐Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) first used evaluate relationships among criteria. Then, analytic network process (ANP) applied weight determined set In develop hybrid DEMATEL‐ANP simplify computation, expert judgment between two techniques as middle step reduce number As many criteria overlap with each other content context, opinions are shortlist Finally, 3PLSPs ranked through complex proportional assessment (COPRAS) method. To validate practicability applicability improved model, household appliance case data obtained from industry experts. this case, five considered ranked, while one gets best score.
