p-coumaric acid (p-CA) is one of the most abundant phenolic compounds in nature and human diet. Probiotic bacteria are microorganisms conferring health benefits on host when administered adequate amounts. The synbiotic interaction these two contents, found gastrointestinal tract, effect this intestines not known. Thus, study aimed to investigate relationship between p-CA Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 (LA-5), Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG). They were grown presence different concentrations effects probiotic properties, as well vitro AChE BChE activities examined. Results indicated did negatively affect bacterial growth, but increased auto-aggregation both probiotics. While co-aggregation LGG against Escherichia coli, it decreased Staphylococcus aureus. Probiotics with more resistant pepsin. resistance bile salt, LGG. combinations efficiently suppressed inhibition (%) 11.31-68.06 13.47-65.14, respectively. Furthermore, surface analysis was conducted using FTIR LGG, changes cell components analyzed. results, recorded range 4000-600 cm⁻¹ resolution 4 cm⁻¹, demonstrated that significantly affected only phosphate/CH ratio for bacteria. These results indicate addition growth may enhance properties

Abstract Halogenation is one of the most important transformations in organic synthesis. Halogenated compounds are employed many reactions to prepare useful molecules. Many methods have been developed introduce halogens into different compounds. Visible light‐mediated efficient, low‐toxic, and mild‐condition applied for various chemistry transformations. Remarkably, there has an increasing development application visible light‐induced halogenation recent years. Herein, we present a comprehensive summary including chlorination, bromination, iodination under light irradiation since 2020.

Abstract Six known products ( 4 – 9 ) were prepared from reaction of adipoyl chloride with 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene according to the literature. From (2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)(2-(2,3,4-trimethoxyphenyl)cyclopent-1-en-1-yl)methanone them, four new 1,2-disubstituted cyclopentane derivatives 10–13 phenyl and benzyl units synthesized by reactions such as hydrazonation, catalytic hydrogenation bromination. The obtained compounds 4–13 examined for their in vitro inhibitory activity against acetylcholinesterase (AChE), butyrylcholinesterase (BChE) α-glucosidase enzymes. All showed inhibition at nanomolar level K i values range 45.53 ± 7.35–631.96 18.88 nM AChE, 84.30 9.92–622.10 35.14 BChE, 25.47 4.46–48.87 7.33 α-Glu. In silico molecular docking studies potent performed active sites AChE (PDB: 1E66), BChE 1P0I), 5ZCC) compare effect bromine atom on mechanism. optimized structures, HOMO–LUMO energies electrostatic potential maps calculated using density functional theory B3LYP/6–31 + G(d,p).
