Soft robots have great potential applications in manufacturing, disaster rescue, medical treatment, etc. Artificial muscle is one of the most important components a soft robot. In previous years, hydrogel actuators that can be controllably deformed by stimuli external signals been developed as good candidates for muscle-like materials. this article, we successfully prepared chemical fuel-driven self-resettable bilayer actuator mimicking natural muscles with aid new negative feedback reaction network. The temporarily deform upon addition H+ (chemical fuel). Subsequently, accelerated between BrO3– and Fe(CN)64–, which consume H+. It resulted spontaneous recovery pH well shape actuator. Such an exhibits similarity actuation mechanisms automaticity manipulation compared to widely reported stimuli-responsive actuators. This illustrates promising dynamic material functions living creatures.
