The pooled reporting help-seeking any source (e.g., helpline, support groups, chat rooms well professionals) was 30% formal treatment seeking psychologist) concerns 32%. However, there evidence publication bias across studies. These rates suggest little no improvement in unmet need since last continuing focus on white adult women. Help-seeking among other populations remain unclear is urgent understand reasons overall low rates. Clear definitions measures appropriate distinctions between sources are needed improve our understanding pathways identify solutions facilitate help-seeking.
