Tea is one of the most popular beverages in world, but toxic metals tea could threaten human health. The metal pollution status China at a national level remains unclear. Ligustrum robustum (Rxob.) Blume is traditionally served as a functional tea in China. In this work, the antioxidant activities of L. extract (LRE) were evaluated and its inhibitory effect mechanism on pancreatic lipase further investigated. With high contents phenols (139.70 ± 1.41 mg gallic acid equivalent/g extract) flavonoids (326.46 7.36 rutin extract), LRE showed significant (p < 0.05) for scavenging free radicals hydrogen peroxide, inhibiting lipid peroxidation providing strong reducing power. Meanwhile, displayed remarkable activity with low half-effective concentration (IC50 ) 2.469 0.005 mg/ml which was determined non-competitive inhibition. The spectroscopic results that inhibited by modifying tertiary secondary structures lipase. Moreover, four phenolic compounds (acteoside, lipedoside A, oleuropein ligurobustoside C) identified from performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole- time flight-mass spectrometry. addition, according to molecular docking analysis, could interact bonds, so change spatial structure inhibit catalytic activity. present suggest not only exhibits capacity but possesses effectively lipase, might have potential be developed food nutraceuticals prevention metabolic diseases. Kuding tea (KT) is the general name of a set bitter-tasting herbal made from varied original plant species. However, limited information was reported about difference bioactive constituents, heavy metals, and bioactivities among those In present study, comparison analyses polysaccharides, phenolics, flavonoids, saponins as well antioxidant antidiabetic activities were performed through colorimetry, UPLC-QTOF-MS, enzymatic assay molecular docking techniques on six KT plants mainly genus Ilex. Results showed that Cd contents in four other than Ilex pubescens (IP) cornuta (IC) metal including Pb, Cu, As Hg all lower standard limit values. Furthermore, carbohydrate polysaccharides (470.06 548.51 mg GLE/g), total phenolics (33.84 48.85 GAE/g), flavonoids (30.86 109.97 RE/g), phenolic acids (49.68 61.48 CAE/g), flavonols (18.47 19.19 flavanols (0.18 0.14 CE/g), (90.81 97.33 GSE /g) IP Ligustrum japonicum (LJ), their activity levels (IC50 607.41–780.44, 547.06–754.00 mg/L) significantly higher plants. Moreover, 6 9 compounds tentatively characterized LJ, respectively, dynamics simulation further used to analysis interaction between α-glucosidase IP. At last, principal component, hierarchical cluster, correlation indicated content phenols, main influencing factors abilities. Overall, according our systematic analysis, possessed highest potentials, thus might be better for development utilization.

Abstract Small‐leaved Kuding tea (SLKDT; Ligustrum robustum ) is a traditional Chinese tea. We systematically investigated the effect of SLKDT extract on obesity. SLKDT‐controlled weight gain in mice fed high‐fat diet. Tissue specimen results showed that alleviated liver damage and fat accumulation. Meanwhile, improved dyslipidemia by decreasing total cholesterol, triglycerides, low‐density lipoprotein cholesterol levels increasing high‐density levels. Furthermore, reduced alanine aminotransferase, alkaline phosphatase, aspartate transaminase serum tissues; decreased inflammatory cytokines, including interleukin (IL)‐1β, tumor necrosis factor‐α, interferon‐γ, IL‐6; increased anti‐inflammatory IL‐4 IL‐10. The quantitative PCR upregulated mRNA expressions peroxisome proliferator‐activated receptor (PPAR)‐α, lipase, carnitine palmitoyltransferase 1, 7 alpha hydroxylase downregulated PPAR‐γ CCAAT/enhancer‐binding protein‐alpha obese mouse livers to reduce adipocyte differentiation accumulation, promote oxidation, improve dyslipidemia, thereby inhibiting immune response alleviating injury. shows potential for preventing obesity regulating obesity‐related syndrome, so it possible be further developed as novel treatment fighting

Ilex kudingcha C.J. Tseng tea and insect tea, as traditional Chinese teas, are favored for their original craftsmanship, unique flavor, biological functionality. In this study, ultra high-performance liquid chromatography-triple quadrupole mass spectrometry (UHPLC-QqQ-MS) was used to analyze the bioactive components of extracts , D-galactose-induced aging mice were compare in vivo anti-aging effects extracts. The results remarkable, UHPLC-QqQ-MS analysis showed that ITP contains 29 ingredients, while IKDCP 26 ingredients. However, due large differences content main chemical ITP, equally different. The leaves of Ligustrum robustum have been consumed as Ku-Ding-Cha for clearing heat and removing toxins, they used a folk medicine curing hypertension, diabetes, obesity in China. phytochemical research on the L. led to isolation identification two new hexenol glycosides, butenol five sugar esters, named ligurobustosides X (1a), X1 (1b), Y (2a), Y1 (2b) ligurobustates A (3a), B (3b), C (4b), D (5a), E (5b), along with seven known compounds (4a 6-10). Compounds 1-10 were tested their inhibitory effects fatty acid synthase (FAS), α-glucosidase, α-amylase, well antioxidant activities. Compound 2 showed strong FAS activity (IC50 4.10 ± 0.12 μM) close that positive control orlistat 4.46 0.13 μM); 7 9 revealed moderate α-glucosidase activities; α-amylase 1 10 displayed stronger 2,2'-azino-bis(3-ethylbenzthiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) ammonium salt (ABTS) radical scavenging 3.41 0.08~5.65 0.19 than l-(+)-ascorbic 10.06 μM).
