The knowledge and attitude of dentists toward geriatric patients are crucial for providing optimal oral healthcare to this growing population. This systematic review meta-analysis aimed examine the association between dental professionals’ experience their scores patients. A comprehensive search was conducted across multiple databases identify relevant epidemiological cross-sectional studies. selected studies underwent a rigorous screening process, data extraction performed systematically. For professionals with less than five years experience, no significant found (odds ratio (OR) = 1.00, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.71 1.41). However, 5 10 years, greater 15 showed statistically (OR 0.61, CI 0.48 0.77; OR 0.69, 0.54 0.89; 0.59, 0.44 0.79, respectively). overall analysis indicated significantly positive among 0.68, 0.59 0.78). findings provide evidence highlight importance enhancing understanding approach care. These results have implications improving education, training, policy development better address health needs older adults.

Introduction: Oral care for older adults in residential homes and long‐term hospital has been largely ignored by health professionals. The purpose of this study was to understand the perspectives nursing students’ on incorporating oral topics curricula. Methods: As a part broader cross‐sectional quantitative study, we asked students their opinions an curriculum programme. This resulted total 148 responses, representing ~15% New Zealand’s graduates exceeding anticipated survey response rate 10%. respondents were from 61% schools across country. Thematic coding used analyze report participants’ responses. Results: thought education is overlooked curriculum. Nursing believed professionals should be accountable patients’ health. Conclusion: do not feel confident providing patients. However, they recognize responsibility need provide as adults.

This systematic review assessed the evidence for oral health literacy levels (i.e., knowledge, attitudes, barriers, care and practices, trainings resources) of nursing professionals effectiveness integrating training into training. Four electronic databases were searched; however, relevance, only published between 2013 2023 was considered. Overall, 70 studies that focused on five key themes, namely, (i) knowledge healthcare among nurses; (ii) attitudes nurses towards healthcare; (iii) barriers to promotion; (iv) practices; (v) resources promote healthcare, retrieved.
