Sustainable tourism integrates economic, social, and environmental aspects of sustainability. This study investigates the local community's perceptions development impacts factors influencing support for sustainable destination sustainability within Stara Planina Nature Park. Using a Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach, using multiple hypothesized relationships across key dimensions, including environmental, infrastructural are examined. The findings highlight importance socio-cultural in fostering support, while also recognizing negative impact concerns. Socio-cultural significantly positively influenced initiatives, highlighting role cultural exchange, tradition preservation, community identity garnering support. These align with previous studies, emphasizing perceived benefits backing development. Effective STD management requires active involvement stakeholders to ensure alignment values goals. Policymakers should focus on enhancing benefits, addressing challenges, effectively communicating economic advantages. Limitations include its cross-sectional design, suggesting need longitudinal research better understand evolving impa ct tourism.

This bibliometric review synthesizes sustainable tourism research over the past three decades, focusing on its alignment with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based 1,383 journal articles from Web of Science database, RStudio Bibliometrix package analysed performance, thematic maps, and co-occurrence networks. The findings highlight role in advancing different SDGs. Findings also indicate broader areas for future research, including regenerative ecosystems, responsible behaviours, right-sizing tourism. Through this review, we propose directions to enhance knowledge contribution SDGs, providing a strategic roadmap researchers policymakers.

ABSTRACT This study investigates the relationships between environmental awareness, travel motivations, tourism knowledge, and intentions to choose sustainable destinations. Using a survey of 495 participants Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS‐SEM), we examine how financial constraints moral reflectiveness moderate these relationships. Our findings indicate strong positive correlation values support for tourism. Travel knowledge about tourism, attitude all significantly contribute tourist's intention sustainably.
