Motor-cognitive interactive interventions, such as action observation training (AOT), have shown great potential in restoring cognitive function and motor behaviors. It is expected that an advanced AOT incorporating specific Tai Chi movements with continuous spiral characteristics can facilitate the shift from automatic to intentional actions thus enhance control ability for early-stage PD. Nonetheless, underlying neural mechanisms remain unclear. The study aimed investigate changes brain functional connectivity (FC) clinical improvement after 12 weeks of Chi-based (TC-AOT) compared traditional physical therapy (TPT).Thirty PD patients were recruited randomly assigned TC-AOT group (N = 15) or TPT 15). All participants underwent resting-state magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) scans before assessments. Abstract Background Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most prevalent neurodegenerative disorder, impairing balance and motor function. Virtual reality (VR) imagery (MI) are emerging techniques for rehabilitating people with PD. VR MI combination have not been studied in PD patients. This study was conducted to investigate combined effects of on balance, function, activities daily living (ADLs) patients Methods a single-centered, two-armed, parallel-designed randomized controlled trial. A total 44 either gender who had idiopathic were randomly allocated into two groups using lottery methods. Both received Physical therapy (PT) treatment, while experimental group (N: 20) addition PT. assigned treatment three days week alternate 12 weeks.
