In this article, a new shear thickening gel (n-STG)/Polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) polymer matrix-reinforced interlayers of Kevlar fabrics are used. Rheology and dynamic mechanical analysis (DMTA) tests were used to characterize the shear-thickening properties n-STG. SEM images showed that fabric’s surface was fully covered with n-STG after STG treatment. Two layers an area density 600 g/m 2 (total = 1200 ) compared six levels 200 . The puncture resistance n-STG/Kevlar composite is highest. pull-out test performed investigate inter-yarn friction. low-velocity impact test, absorbs about 90.0% energies. energy-balance model very well matches experimental results. Finally, performance samples examined in response changing energy, weight n-STG, number layers.
