Wound healing, particularly for chronic wounds, presents a considerable difficulty due to differences in biochemical and cellular processes that occur different types of wounds. Recent technological breakthroughs have notably advanced the understanding diagnostic therapeutic approaches wound healing. The evolution care has seen transition from traditional textile dressings variety alternatives, including self-healing hydrogels, hydrofibers, foams, hydrocolloids, environment responsive dressings, growth factor-based therapy, bioengineered skin substitutes, stem cell gene therapy. Technological advancements, such as 3D printing electronic (e-skin) contribute customization Despite these effectively managing wounds remains challenging. This necessitates development treatments consider performance, risk–benefit balance, cost-effectiveness. review discusses innovative strategies healing Incorporating biomarkers into coupled with corresponding biosensors drug delivery formulations, enables theranostic approach treatment Furthermore, integrating power sources user interfaces like near-field communication, radio frequency identification, Bluetooth enhances real-time monitoring on-demand delivery. It also provides thorough evaluation advantages, patient compliance, costs, durability emphasizing smart formulations their preparation methods.

Abstract The rationale for replacing the old binary of structure–function with trinity structure, disorder, and function has gained considerable ground in recent years. A continuum model based on expanded form existing paradigm can now subsume importance both conformational flexibility intrinsic disorder protein function. is actually critical understanding protein–protein interactions many regulatory processes, formation membrane‐less organelles, our revised notions specificity as amply illustrated by moonlighting proteins. While its amyloids prions often discussed, roles infectious diseases under extreme conditions are also becoming clear. This review an attempt to discuss how current function, specificity, evolution fit better model. integration structure a single may bring greater clarity continuing quest proteins molecular mechanisms their functionality.

In this work, we explored the intrinsic disorder status of three members synuclein family proteins—α-, β-, and γ-synucleins—and showed that although all human synucleins are highly disordered, highest levels observed in γ-synuclein. Our analysis peculiarities amino acid sequences modeled 3D structures revealed pathological mutations A30P, E46K, H50Q, A53T, A53E associated with early onset Parkinson’s disease caused some increase local propensity α-synuclein. A comparative sequence-based proteins from various evolutionary distant species evaluation their using a set commonly used bioinformatics tools that, irrespective origin, analyzed study were predicted to be disordered proteins, indicating intrinsically nature represents an conserved therefore functionally important feature. detailed functional interactomes utilizing α-synuclein interactome has relatively higher as compared β- γ- relative γ-synuclein interactomes, interactors involved much broader spectrum diversified pathways. Although interacting characterized by functionalities, also common pathways, such synaptic vesicle cycle, serotonergic synapse, retrograde endocannabinoid signaling. Taken together, these observations highlight critical importance neuronal processes.
