ABSTRACT The global transition towards cleaner energy such as solar, wind and biomass play a crucial role in mitigating environmental damage fostering green economic growth. This study explores the impact of on growth top five renewable energy‐consuming economies, namely China, United States, Germany, India Brazil based data from 1995 to 2022. To empirically analyze results robustness our findings, we employ fully modified least squares (FMOLS) dynamic (DOLS) methods respectively. We find that significantly contribute Furthermore, it emerges solar has highest positive statistically significant effect growth, followed by energy. policy recommendations are establish an integrated network, increase investments research development focus international cooperation for efficient utilization resources. presents policymakers how they can support economy achievement sustainable goals.

Abstract This article investigates the influence of belt and road initiative (BRI) on energy transition within context sustainable development goal (SDG) 7. The study utilizes daily data from May 3, 2017, to June 30, 2023, deploys advanced econometric methods like heatmap‐based QVAR, cross‐quantilogram, recursive time‐varying methods. findings determine that BRI can significantly foster global process. Further, Paris Agreement (PA) green finance (GF) support system by showing positive effects. In contrast, geopolitical risk (GPR) introduces disruptive elements impede production. Notably, amalgamation GF, PA, showcases potential not only facilitate SDG 7 but also contribute substantially SDGs 8 13. Based above findings, suggests fostering synergies collaboration between maximize their combined impact transition, which may decrease GPR.

Abstract As a green industry, forestry plays pivotal role in economic and ecological development. Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP) is crucial indicator of progress. This paper employs the Non‐Radial Distance Function (NDDF) model to measure GTFP comprehensively. Additionally, it utilizes fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA) explore pathways for enhancing across technological, organizational, environmental (TOE) dimensions. The study reveals following outcomes: Government financial support six additional antecedent conditions offer three distinct avenues boost forestry. Regional disparities emerge, with technology‐driven predominantly found eastern provinces, dual‐driven routes centered on average forest land size carbon sinks (FCS) taking precedence central paths driven by government FCS coming forefront western provinces. Under specific circumstances, foreign investment exhibit potential interchangeability, facilitating attainment elevated However, constraint arises from operating entities' low size. Ultimately, this equips policymakers nuanced understanding factors shaping forestry, enabling them craft compelling, regionally tailored policies that foster adaptability contribute sustainable development sector, recognizing one‐size‐fits‐all approach may not be suitable all regions.

The topic is timely highly relevant, particularly in context climate change, global challenges, ongoing discourse about role promoting sustainable development. We utilized PRISMA framework for search selection, organizing it into two main themes: one investigating direct effects policies regulations, while another examining its mediated related financial development, foreign investment, trade openness, equitable resource distribution, human innovation's influence quality. review underscores significance clear frameworks, fair accountability mechanisms, stakeholder engagement preventing institutional collapse ensuring effective sustainability. A major gap identified limited exploration specific components both concepts, such as fundamental rights, justice system, biodiversity, waste management. Emerging countries are experiencing rapid urbanization. Examining the link between economic growth and carbon emissions in developing nations as well effects of urbanization on this relationship at national subnational levels goals research. Thus, to investigate if China's development align with environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) hypothesis, study adopts FMOLS model fixed model. Furthermore, uses a threshold variable examines how influence would alter result The findings demonstrate an inverted U-shaped is compatible EKC hypothesis. Although there variability level, most regions follow connection. inflection point western area larger than points eastern central regions. According model, rises, increase brought by expansion declines. eight areas China differ change process But compared initial stage urbanization, last lessens impact emissions. To decrease emissions, we must not only encourage cleaner technologies boost energy consumption efficiency, but also create carbon-reduction strategies that specific characteristics various areas.
