Solid waste governance actions are important to achieve sustainable urban development. This study uses the “zero-waste city” pilot policy as a natural experiment evaluate impact of solid on corporate environmental, social, and (ESG) performance. The research shows that improve ESG performance by enhancing government environmental concerns, public green innovation. analysis spillover effects indicates exerts positive spatial effects. Heterogeneity tests reveal effect is more pronounced in enterprises characterized higher-quality information disclosure stronger internal governance, industries with greater output advanced technology, regions closer government–market relationship, central–eastern regions. These findings contribute understanding micro-level determinants performance, providing valuable insights for other developing countries govern

Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) is an indispensable technology for achieving a net-zero emission society. The offshore CCUS project still in its infancy. To promote sustainable development, developing comprehensive framework investment decision-making very crucial. First, evaluation criteria system established. Second, order to characterize the ambiguity uncertainty of information process making decisions, interval-valued fermatean fuzzy set (IVFFS) introduced, extended variance method IVFFS proposed systematically calculate weights experts. Then, power weighted average (PWA) operator based similarity measure IVFFSs developed aggregate different expert information. Meanwhile, fuzzy-weighted zero-inconsistency (FWZIC) on removal effects (MEREC) are used determine weights. In addition, considering interactions between criteria, we introduce Hamacher into measurement alternatives ranking according compromise solution (MARCOS) select optimal alternative (IVFF) environment. suggested then analyse case study. After that, sensitivity comparative analyses conducted confirm robustness viability. This study creates practical projects, identifies number investment-sensitive provides management insights. expands methods applications field scientific approach which can be useful reference managers.
