If we are going to be able fight climate change in an effective way there is a need for profound sustainability transformation of society. The question how everyday pro-environmental behavior such as climate-friendly food choices should looked upon this context: something that hides the structural change, or starting point transformation? aim discuss emotions related conflicts encountered when trying make society not always sustainable can used promote transformational learning. Interviews were performed with 15 adolescents. Policy makers are under political pressure to adopt policies that achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions. Reaching net zero is a demanding challenge requiring durable last; is, withstand short-term turbulence. However, there lack of clarity in the existing literature on both conceptual meaning policy durability and its empirical manifestations. This paper distinguishes between three central dimensions uses them shed new light long-term evolution EU climate policy. It reveals has addressed relationship flexibility by working iteratively across different elements (instruments, programmes, goals, etc.). In revealing these patterns, it addresses greatly neglected feature design processes: dialectical flexibility.

To meet net zero goals, more drastic action is needed than acknowledged by most policymakers, posing a major social challenge that will impact many aspects of people’s lives. This paper emphasises the importance people-centred approach for policy makers to achieve effectively and rapidly while being alert citizens’ needs concerns. We advocate comprehensive inclusive public engagement strategy, discussing insights on four key questions guide policymakers in developing successful strategies. (1) How do climate-friendly transformations happen?, (2) can behavioural change be supported? (3) people involved decision-making zero?, (4) does climate intersect with other societal challenges? conclude clear recommendations: government leadership at all levels (national, devolved, local), underpinned strategy zero, addition fair consistent policies are transparent about scale needed.

This systematic review critically examines extensive body literature on Livelihood Vulnerability Index (LVI) related impacts By synthesizing findings from various studies, this highlights patterns methodologies used understand effects vulnerable populations. Key focus areas include geographical distribution, methodological approaches, frameworks utilized assessments. The identifies prominent frameworks, LVI LVI-IPCC, which integrate indicators sensitivity, exposure, adaptive capacity evaluate risks. Abstract Context Developing ecological networks (ENs) is a widely acknowledged conservation strategy for mitigating habitat fragmentation and ecosystem degradation. Therefore, it crucial to assess the sustainability of ENs before or after their development in order maintain functions service. While most previous studies have explored based on service evaluation structure construction, structures EN rarely been integrally assessed under climate change scenarios. Objective Taking Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration as study area, we aim future current multiple scenarios by integrating its structures. Methods Ten were constructed, including scenario nine Ecological sources derived from importance service, used develop using Linkage mapper toolbox. We then range difference between indicate functional EN. The NetworkX was structural stability sustainability. Results capacity 6.23% projected decline efficiently providing services 2050 selected scenarios, these degradations will also lead 33.55% decrease stability. Poor, low, medium sustainable be mostly located forests water bodies central YRDUA with small average patch while high mainly distributed southwestern mountainous regions areas north-central region larger area. Conclusion Our provides prospective assessment EN, which particularly enhancing strategies ensuring landscape Constructing assessing can provide effective information long-term management.
