This study tested the Spectrum hypothesis of problematic online behaviors (POBs) which posits that POBs (e.g., gaming, gambling, sexual activities, and social networking) constitute distinct, yet related constructs. To overcome limitations previous research, we recruited a representative sample young men capitalized on common assessment approach (Fifth version Diagnostic Statistical Manual Mental Disorders [DSM-5] Eleventh International Classification Diseases [ICD-11] frameworks). The was single-center, observational with cross-sectional design (n = 2620). All targeted were assessed using proposed criteria DSM-5 ICD-11. correlation analysis showed activities weakly correlated (0.01 ≤ r 0.19), suggesting when people engage in one specific activity to extent, they do not necessarily several an excessive way. Using network analysis, various might reflect distinct community detection identified four communities items corresponding each POB. Abstract Background and aims Problematic pornography use (PPU) is a common manifestation of the newly introduced Compulsive Sexual Behavior Disorder diagnosis in 11th edition International Statistical Classification Diseases Related Health Problems. Although cultural, gender‐ sexual orientation‐related differences behaviors are well documented, there relative absence data on PPU outside Western countries among women as sexually‐diverse individuals. We addressed these gaps by (a) validating long short versions Pornography Consumption Scale (PPCS PPCS‐6, respectively) Brief Screen (BPS) (b) measuring risk across diverse populations. Methods Using from pre‐registered Sex Survey [ n = 82 243; mean age (M ) 32.4 years, standard deviation 12.5], study 42 five continents, we evaluated psychometric properties (i.e. factor structure, measurement invariance, reliability) PPCS, BPS examined their associations with relevant correlates (e.g. treatment‐seeking). also compared groups three genders). Prevalence rates were estimated based on two commonly used algorithms defined 'strict' 'moderate'. Sociodemographic, loss-related, mental health (i.e., anxiety, depression, treatment seeking, loneliness) strict moderate then examined multinomial logistic regressions. It found that 2.4% (n = 43) participants met probable caseness for criteria while 7.9% 140) criteria. Multinomial regression analysis results showed, predicted, income, time since bereavement, death child, religiosity, depression associated both PGD. Correlates country residence, urbanicity, younger age bereaved, loneliness. This highlights some are reported although relatively few meet clinical significance. The routine assessment following bereavement discussed development appropriate interventions recommended.
