Today’s widespread and increasing access to the Internet new technologies not only offers great opportunities but also risks for problematic use, whose psychological dynamics need be understood in depth. This study examines how technology addiction may differentially affect well‐being (i.e., psychological, eudaimonic, cognitive hedonic) digital life balance depending on people’s reported levels of online social capital. Seven hundred eleven participants (75.70% female; Mage = 28.33 years, SD 12.30) took part data collection. Drawing Psychology Harmony Harmonization framework, found that people with high capital showed higher scores, as indicated by perceptions satisfaction feelings personal success, compared patterns low In addition, results highlighted a better former group. Overall, findings point key factor unraveling different media addiction, showing it can contribute ensuring driving needs, maintaining even face maladaptive behaviors, ultimately challenging monolithic concept forms addiction. Abstract Background Mood and anxiety disorders are highly prevalent comorbid worldwide, with variability in symptom severity that fluctuates over time. Digital phenotyping, a growing field aims to characterize clinical, cognitive behavioral features via personal digital devices, enables continuous quantification of the real world, real-time. Methods In this study, N=114 individuals mood or disorder (MA) healthy controls (HC) were enrolled completed 30-days ecological momentary assessments (EMA) severity. Novel real-world measures anxiety, distress depression developed based on established Anxiety Symptom Questionnaire (MASQ). The full MASQ was also laboratory (in-lab). Additional EMA related extrinsic intrinsic motivation, passive activity data collected same 30-days. Mixed-effects models adjusting for time individual tested association between corresponding sub-scores. A graph theory neural network model (D EP NA) applied all estimate interactions. Results There overall good adherence (MA=69.5%, HC=71.2% completion), no group difference (t (58) =0.874, p=0.386).
