ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND
COVID‐19‐disrupted
schools,
including
shifts
to
virtual
learning
which
may
have
impacted
academic
progress.

study

changes

grades

pandemic)

modalities
US
students
ages
13‐19.
METHODS

Abstract
Whole
university
approaches

student
mental
health
and
well‐being
increasingly
involve
counselling
services
(UCMHSs)
as
key
stakeholders
in
higher
education

Adolescents'

The
ancient
Greek
educational
system,
based
on
paideia
,
sought
to
shape
well-rounded
citizens
through
the
integration
of
physical
and
intellectual
education,
thus
promoting
a
balance
between
body
mind.
This
philosophy,
centered
holistic
development,
was
embodied
in
institutions
such
as
gymnasium,
where
training
not
only
strengthened
but
also
enhanced
character
morality
young
people.
In
current
context,
scientific
studies
have
shown
that
activity
within
academic
environment
significantly
improves
both
mental
health,
enhances
cognitive
performance,
counteracts
increasingly
prevalent
issues
our
society,
sedentary
behavior,
obesity,
depression,
anxiety
among
students.
Despite
this
evidence,
systems
tend
prioritize
learning
over
posing
challenge
for
modern
education.
Given
most
students
lack
sufficient
time
exercise,
there
is
growing
need
reform
school
curricula
more
effectively
integrate
movement
exercise.

türlerinden
deneyim
seviyelerinden
öğretmenlerle
yapılan
çalışmada,
anket
görüşme
formları
kullanılarak
veriler
toplanmıştır.
Verilerin
analizi
SPSS
yazılımı
ile
yapılmış;
analizde
frekans
dağılımları
içerik
yöntemleri
kullanılmıştır.
Araştırma
bulguları,
öğretmenlerin
programın
beceri
temelli
yaklaşımını
olumlu
değerlendirdiklerini
sosyal-duygusal
öğrenme
becerilerinin
programda
önemsendiğini
göstermektedir.
Ayrıca,
aile
toplum
katılımının
teşvik
edilmesi
değerlendirme
süreçlerinin
etkinliğine
katkı
sağladığına
dair
görüşler
mevcuttur.
Ancak,
uygulamada
öğretmen
eğitimi,
materyal
altyapı
eksiklikleri,
katılımı
motivasyonu
gibi
sorunlarla
karşılaşılmaktadır.
Programın
etkili
şekilde
uygulanması
için
düzenli
eğitimlerin
verilmesi,
desteğinin
sağlanması,
artırılması
motivasyonunun
desteklenmesi
stratejilerin
hayata
geçirilmesi
önerilmektedir.
