Abstract Rhythmicity is a cornerstone of behavioral and biological processes, especially metabolism, yet the mechanisms behind metabolite cycling remain elusive. This study uncovers robust oscillation in key pathways downstream glucose humans. A purpose-built 13 C 6 -glucose isotope tracing platform was used to sample Drosophila every 4h probe these pathways, revealing striking peak biosynthesis shortly after lights-on wild-type flies. hyperactive mutant ( fumin ) demonstrates increased Krebs cycle labelling dawn-specific glycolysis labelling. Surprisingly, neither underlying feeding rhythms nor presence food availability explain rhythmicity processing across genotypes, suggesting internal mechanism for metabolic control processing. These results align with clinical data highlighting detrimental effects mistimed energy intake. Our approach offers unique insight into dynamic range daily provides mechanistic foundation exploring circadian homeostasis disease contexts.

(1) Background/Objectives: Cardiovascular diseases (CVD) are the leading cause of morbidity and mortality globally, necessitating effective risk prediction strategies. This study was aimed at developing validating a multivariate predictive model integrating body composition lipid profile to assess cardiovascular in an adult population. (2) Methods: A cross-sectional analysis 90 participants from general Spanish population conducted. Participants were classified into groups (low, medium, high) based on systolic blood pressure. (3) Results: Descriptive multinomial logistic regression analyses revealed significant associations between specific parameters, such as visceral fat, glucose levels, waist-to-hip ratio. Visceral adiposity emerged strong predictor high risk, highlighting its critical role health. Glucose levels also significantly associated with increased underscoring importance metabolic health outcomes. Contrary expectations, markers like cholesterol triglycerides did not show variations across categories, suggesting that traditional profiles may fully capture group. Waist-to-hip ratio showed transitions, particularly low medium emphasizing fat distribution patterns. (4) Conclusions: These findings suggest composition, is crucial determinant more personalized assessment approaches move beyond markers.

Inconsistent epidemiologic findings on the associations of chrononutrition behaviors with diet quality and adiposity measures may be due to use different dietary assessment methodologies a lack consideration misreporting. We aimed investigate by using questionnaires diaries, adjustment for energy intake (EI) This cross-sectional study included 1047 Japanese adults aged 20-69 years. used Chrono-Nutrition Behavior Questionnaire (CNBQ) or 11-day diaries assess (meal frequency, snack total eating timing first occasion, last duration window, midpoint) workdays non-workdays separately. Eating jetlag was defined as midpoint difference between non-workdays. Diet assessed Healthy Index-2020, based Meal-based History (MDHQ) 4-day weighed food diaries. EI misreporting evaluated Goldberg cut-off principle. Using questionnaire data (CNBQ MDHQ), we found inverse frequencies, midpoint, (P < 0.05), irrespective Also, positive meal, snack, frequencies window prevalence general obesity (body mass index ≥ 25 kg/m2), abdominal (waist circumference 90 cm males; 80 females), both; many these were only evident 0.05) after In contrast, diary data, no quality, obesity, regardless (except timings occasions quality). The dependent methodology behaviors. Adjustment radically changed in questionnaire-based analysis. These suggest importance careful method selection research.
