Background People with Type 2 diabetes frequently report increased fatigue and sleep disturbance. These symptoms might put them at a higher risk for unhealthy eating behavior—detrimental to control. Objectives The aim of the study was examine effect on behavior in people by using daily diary approach. Methods Data from 56 patients were collected during baseline interview an 8-day ambulatory assessment period free-living setting. Each day, participants completed one upon awakening assess their duration quality previous night morning fatigue. They also before going bed day (e.g., uncontrolled eating, cognitive restraint, emotional snacking). 7 days analyzed generalized estimating equations. Results During days, controlling age, gender, body mass index, between-person significant predictor snacking. Similarly, covariates, eating. No associations found between behavior. Discussions At level, reporting or poorer associated levels Patients high poor may require additional attention support healthy

Background The COVID-19 pandemic has imposed pervasive stress and significant disruptions in sleep health young adults. purpose of this study was to describe the perceived facilitators barriers among adults with type 1 diabetes during pandemic.Participants Thirty-two T1D (87.5% female; mean age = 21.5, SD 2.0) participated an online survey between January July 2021. Young ages 18–25 years for at least 6 months were eligible participate, while those who had a previous OSA diagnosis, currently pregnant, or worked night shift not participate. Methods A qualitative descriptive approach used explore convenience sample. Qualitative content analyzed coded themes using analysis. Responses vivo approach. Results identified changes sufficient from before pandemic. Three overarching identified: (1) general, (2) diabetes-specific, (3) specific. Conclusions Our findings can inform future educational cognitive-behavioral interventions promote other complex chronic conditions. When designing sleep-promoting post-pandemic, researchers should consider as well COVID-specific facilitators.

Decreased sleep quality in patients with type 2 diabetes can interfere their daytime functions, alterations emotions and decrease of life. Relationship between self-care management among were examined. We used cross-sectional methods following questionnaire patient characteristic, Pittsburgh index, perceived stress scale, self-management family support. This research has been conducted 152 who divided into 79 respondents without diabetic foot ulcers 73 ulcers. Result this study showed that 63.2% had poor quality, 59.2% mild stress, 57.2% support 56.6% good behavior. There was a significant relationship duration mellitus, (p: 0.013; p: 0.009; 0.007). no age, sex, education level, care. In order to increase patients, need be improved.
