Abstract Background This systematic review aims to explore the prevalence of impact COVID-19, MERS, and SARS pandemics on mental health pregnant women. Methods All MERS studies that evaluated women with/without gynaecological conditions were reported in English between December 2000 – July 2021 included. The search criteria developed based upon research question using PubMed, Science Direct, Ovid PsycINFO EMBASE databases. A wide criterion was used ensure inclusion all with existing conditions. Newcastle-Ottawa-Scale assess risk bias for included studies. Random effects model restricted maximum-likelihood estimation method applied meta-analysis I-square statistic evaluate heterogeneity across pooled rates symptoms anxiety, depression, PTSD, stress, sleep disorders 95% confidence interval (CI) computed. Results identified 217 which 638,889 or who had just given birth. There no reporting due SARS. showed birth displayed various poor including those relating depression (24.9%), anxiety (32.8%), stress (29.44%), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) (27.93%), (24.38%) during COVID-19 pandemic. Discussion It is important note this a range outcome measures does not allow direct comparisons findings. Most self-reported measure without clinical diagnoses so conclusions can be made symptom rather than illness. importance managing pregnancy after-delivery improves quality life wellbeing mothers hence developing an evidence-based approached as part pandemic preparedness would improve challenging times. Methods: A probabilistic sample, determined by convenience criteria of 265 Australian women completed an online survey containing measures COVID-19 experiences, self-compassion, strategies. Results: As hypothesised, correlation analyses showed that adaptive were negatively related to depression maladaptive positively related. Contrary predictions, COVID-19-related experiences little relationship with mental health outcomes. Parallel mediation predicted was partially mediated specific For fully Different significant mediators the between each outcome. Conclusions: The findings suggest reinforcing addressing certain deficits is important in alleviating symptoms among women.

Aims: Women face many sources of stress throughout their lives, and some periods are particularly sensitive; pregnancy is one them. The COVID-19 pandemic a likely source additional for pregnant women. Moreover, there evidence that women have experienced high levels anxiety depression symptoms during the pandemic. Our study aimed to evaluate association pregnancy-specific stress, pandemic-related coping strategies with anxiety, depressive obsessive-compulsive symptomatology in Italian second wave (December 2020–June 2021). We also investigated whether were differences these psychopathology compared prior conducted first (April–August 2020) Methods: assessed 325 receiving outpatient prenatal care, using Revised Prenatal Distress Questionnaire (NuPDQ), Pandemic-Related Pregnancy Stress Scale (PREPS), Coping Inventory (NuPCI), General Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7), Patient Health Questionnaire-2 (PHQ-2), Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) screening. main analysis was comparing multiple logistic regression models predicting each psychopathological outcome from specific covariates NuPDQ, PREPS, NuPCI scores. Results: 42.8% sample reported significant while 10.3% positive on screening 13.1% OCD No difference found prevalence depression, or scores wave. Controlling covariates, we GAD-7 PHQ-2 predicted by stress; not. model improved adding as predictor (in particular, feeling unprepared delivery postpartum). Finally, (avoidance, spiritual coping, planning-preparation) significantly prediction all three outcomes. Conclusions: present suggests importance pregnancy-related counteracting contributing psychiatric current

Purpose: Kidney transplant recipients (KTRs) may experience symptoms that increase their fear of progression (FoP), but a dearth research examines the issue from patient-centered perspective. Our study aimed to first determine category symptom burden, then explore differences in characteristics patients different subgroups, and finally analyze impact subgroup on FoP. Patients Methods: Sociodemographic Clinical Characteristics, Symptom Experience Scale, Fear Progression Questionnaire-Short Form were used. Latent class analysis was used group KTRs according occurrence symptoms. We multivariate logistic regression predictors subgroups. The FoP among burden subgroups analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression. Results: Three identified, designated all-high (20.5%), moderate (39.9%), all-low (39.6%) occurrence. Multivariate showed gender, post-transplant time, per capita monthly income, hyperuricemia factors distinguished predicted ( P < 0.05). Hierarchical had significant effect (class1 vs class3: β = 0.327, 0.001; class2 0.104, 0.046), explaining 8.0% variance ΔR2 0.080). Conclusion: generally or low is an influencing factor Identifying traits with high can help clinicians develop targeted management strategies ease KTRs. When adjusting for anxiety, being part Chinese cohort significantly increased chances having depression over threefold (adjusted OR 3.20, 95%CI 1.77–5.78).
