Objectives: This article reports a rare case of primary central nervous system lymphoma (PCNSL) found in patient with thyroid cancer after surgery. Methods: The was initially misdiagnosed brain metastases, and the diagnosis PCNSL later confirmed by pathology. Results: analysis this review relevant literature explores possible mechanisms coexistence PCNSL, as well their diagnostic, differential therapeutic challenges. Conclusions: suggests correlation between multiple cancers autoimmune diseases emphasizes that disease cannot be only considered monolithic way.

Well-differentiated thyroid carcinoma has a favorable prognosis with 5-year survival rate of over 95%. However, the undifferentiated or anaplastic type accounting for < 0.2%, usually in elderly individuals, exhibits dismal rapid growth and disappointing outcomes. It is most aggressive form carcinoma, median 5 mo poor quality life (airway obstruction, dysphagia, hoarseness, persistent pain). Early diagnosis staging are crucial. Diagnostic tools include biopsy (fine needle aspiration, core needle, open surgery), high-resolution ultrasound, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, [(18)F]fluoro-D-glucose positron emission tomo-graphy/computed liquid microRNAs. Brain metastases (BM) are the most common intracranial neoplasms in adults and a significant cause of morbidity mortality. The brain is an unusual site for distant thyroid cancer; indeed, sites lungs bones. In this narrative review, we discuss about clinical characteristics, diagnosis, treatment options patients with BM from differentiated cancer (DTC).

This study aimed to create a prognostic nomogram predict the risk of liver metastasis (LM) in thyroid cancer (TC) patients and assess survival outcomes for those with LM. Data were collected from SEER database, covering TC 2010 2020, totaling 110,039 individuals, including 142 Logistic regression stepwise based on Akaike information criterion (AIC) identified significant factors influencing LM occurrence: age, histological type, tumor size, bone metastasis, lung T stage (
