Abstract Mathematics teacher educators (MTEs) have an important obligation to prepare prospective elementary mathematics teachers (PEMTs) use artificial intelligence (AI) in their classrooms. To better understand how AI can mediate the interactions between students, teachers, and mathematics, we examined PEMTs' perceptions of AI‐integrated learning sessions a foundational content course. We employed inductive deductive thematic analysis categorize these along three edges didactic tetrahedron for teaching (AI–PEMT interactions, PEMT–instructor AI–instructor interactions). The instructor's Khanmigo as tutor facilitate small‐group problem‐solving yielded several experiences categorized AI–PEMT instructor–PEMT tetrahedron. created robust opportunities communicate construct mathematical knowledge with Khanmigo. Instructor–PEMT provided technological “safety net”, mitigating challenges PEMTs faced communicating AI. Limited evidence PEMT descriptions suggests MTEs should intentionally model instructional decision‐making partner lessons. benefit from discussing foster meaningful student engagement beyond getting answers problems. Implications recognizing realizing affordances using deepen courses are offered.

Published: Jan. 28, 2025

Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), a leading cause of cancer-related deaths, arises from complex interactions between hypoxia, chronic inflammation, and metabolic dysregulation within the tumor microenvironment. Key drivers these processes include hypoxia-inducible factor 1-alpha (HIF-1α), necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ). This study evaluates therapeutic potential several natural compounds, including curcumin, resveratrol, epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), berberine, gingerol, andrographolide, luteolin, apigenin, sulforaphane, omega-3 fatty acids, ginseng, using CB-Dock2 for computational docking analysis. Results reveal high-affinity compounds their respective targets, indicating to inhibit HIF-1α stabilization, suppress TNF-α-mediated activate PPARγ restore homeostasis.Curcumin EGCG demonstrated robust inhibition HIF-1α, reducing angiogenesis progression. Resveratrol, andrographolide effectively modulated TNF-α signalling, attenuating inflammation epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Compounds such as acids ginseng activated PPARγ, regulating lipid metabolism immune responses. The multi-targeted actions agents disrupt angiogenesis, metastasis, offering holistic approach combating HCC. highlights promise complementary therapies, emphasizing bioavailability, safety, synergy with conventional treatments in addressing complexity HCC
