Colletotrichum species are significant pathogens of various economic plant hosts worldwide. In this study, 45 isolates were obtained from symptomatic walnut leaves anthracnose in Shaanxi and Sichuan Provinces. conjunction with morphological evidence multi-gene phylogenetic analyses internal transcribed spacer (ITS), actin ( act), chitin synthase 1 (chs1), glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (gapdh ) beta-tubulin tub2 sequences support the introduction three new species, namely cordae , C. guangyuanense juglandium . Abstract True mangroves and mangrove associates are salt‐tolerant trees shrubs that serve a critical role in preserving the ecological balance of tropical subtropical estuarine environments. However, they not immune to damage caused by fungal pathogens. In this study, leaves exhibiting leaf spot symptoms were gathered from estuary forests Prachuap Khiri Khan, Thailand. Through morphological multilocus phylogenetic analyses (LSU, ITS, RPB2 TUB2 ) along with genealogical concordance species recognition, we identified Allophoma acanthi sp. nov. Acanthus ilicifolius . Additionally, A minor was as causative agent spots true associate species, namely, , Combretum sp., Hibiscus tiliaceus Intsia bijuga Lumnitzera racemosa Sonneratia alba We also provide evidence support synonymization thunbergiae All eight isolates study demonstrated pathogenicity their original hosts varied virulence, confirming Koch's postulates. Our findings contribute understanding pathogens affecting associates.
