Abstract This study provides a comparative assessment of the capabilities leading artificial intelligence (AI) tools and human participants in business management education context. Specifically, we (a) assess how well current language models perform providing answers to standardised essay‐type assessments context, (b) examine efficacy emergent detecting AI‐generated texts (c) evaluate online AI rewriting paraphrasing their evading detection. Using an exploratory qualitative design, this generated evaluated 15 standard essays using ChatGPT ( n = 5), Bard 5) 5). A comparison is provided between average performance AI‐derived that ChatGPT‐generated across all five essays. The results suggest content can achieve reasonably high marks assessments. According findings study, AI's highly influenced by types prompts used, user's experience degree which user discern relevant irrelevant content. findings, Turnitin's detection tool effective at has been created AI, but effectiveness reduced rewriters. This survey study aims to understand how college students use and perceive artificial intelligence (AI) tools in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). It reports students’ use, perceived motivations, ethical concerns these variables are interrelated. Responses (n = 822) were collected from seven universities five UAE emirates. The findings show widespread of AI (79.6%), with various factors affecting perceptions about tools.
