Abstract Herein, a novel sandwich-like α -ketoglutaric acid Schiff base-aminated chitosan composite ( -kGl-AmCsSB) was fabricated by reacting and aminated chitosan. The magnetic mesoporous hydrogel-based nanoadsornet was prepared by adding the ex situ Fe3O4 nanoparticles (MNPs) and bentonite clay into three-dimentional (3D) cross-linked pectin hydrogel substrate for adsorption of organophosphorus chlorpyrifos (CPF) pesticide crystal violet (CV) organic dye. The contamination of lead in wastewater causes water quality problems, which is toxic to aquatic organisms and environment, so treatment required before discharging receiving water.
