The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly impacted globalization by disrupting the course of international economic integration, reducing interpersonal interaction and communication, lessening significance global governance political interactions. This unprecedented event altered supply chains, MNEs’ operations FDI, trade patterns, it favored protectionist border policies. Abstract Most scholarly work has focused on the positive effects of digitalisation in Sub-Saharan Africa without accounting for associated risks and mitigation measures at firm level. Using 2016 Enterprise ICT Survey Kenya which provides a rich source information use among firms, we examine effect cybersecurity breach labour productivity show how this is moderated by cyber risk capabilities We find that reduces also upskilling mitigates negative especially Small Medium-sized Enterprises. The results further suggest while Information Technology Policy Security can enable firms to improve productivity, these are not sufficient offset adverse productivity. This study joins and extends prior research in exploring various factors that constitute a business' resilience to unprecedented crises such as the most recent COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on sample of 10,828 private firms across 31 developing countries, we find embodying an open mindset diverse array sales channels, akin foxes, are more likely survive during pandemic, compared their hedgehog counterparts which focus one particular task. Moreover, impact fox-like traits firm survival is moderated by female leadership, corporate innovation, bribery. As navigate future marked uncertainty, our finding with diversified channels have better chance especially relevant. Purpose This study aims to explore the impact of strategic agility on orientation and its dimensions (retrenchment, perseverance, innovation exit strategies) in Jordanian medical pharmaceutical industries companies during COVID-19 crisis.
