The nexus between economic growth (EG) and carbon emission has been examined extensively, specifically in consumption-based CO2. However, the role of human capital, green energy, sustainable determining is yet to be explored from emerging economies. This study aimed examine impact capital index, EG terms GDP, square GDP on for long-short run with help CS-ARDL. data variables was collected 1995 2018. findings confirmed that there exists CSD, cointegration, slope heterogeneity among variables. In contrast, output through CS-ARDL indicated main reason higher targeted economies are under estimation. Additionally, energy index also constructive lowering environmental degradation both long-run short-run Finally, some policy implications convassed at end research.

Abstract The extant literature has produced mixed evidence on the relationship between financial development and ecological sustainability. This work addresses this conundrum by investigating development’s direct indirect consequences quality utilizing environmental Kuznets curve (EKC) methodological approach. Our empirical analysis is based novel dynamic autoregressive distributed lag simulations approach for South Africa 1960 2020. results, which used five distinct measures, demonstrate that boosts integrity sustainability over long short terms. In instance of Africa, we additionally confirm validity EKC theory. More importantly, outcomes channels increases energy usage’s role in causing pollution while attenuating detrimental impacts economic growth, trade openness, foreign investment quality. Moreover, presence an inadequate system a requirement basis haven hypothesis (PHH), examine using openness variables. PHH both these variables disappears when crosses specified thresholds. Finally, industrial value addition destroys technological innovation enhances it. research provides some crucial policy recommendations fresh perspectives as it develops national initiatives to support reach its net zero emissions goal.

Based on an extended STIRPAT framework, this paper investigates the effects of financial development carbon emission intensity in OECD countries from linear and non-linear perspectives, where is proxied by three dimensions: deepening, size, efficiency. Fortunately, types significantly alleviate intensity. An moderation effect model built to estimate via information communication technology The results reveal that internet-based service-based are positively correlated with To effectively handle endogeneity issue triggered causal relationships between variables allow potential nexus, advanced dynamic panel threshold incorporating generalised method moments employed investigate how affects under different technology. Empirical evidence demonstrates significance nexus Lastly, heterogeneity analysis existence associated institutional quality, degree economic development, resource endowment concerning among countries.
