Published: May 26, 2023

Potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) is one of the main tuber crops that contribute to global food security. Fertilizer an important input for potato production. However, productivity still constrained by soil depletion. Unfortunately, research done on rate organic manure and nitrogen fertilizer production are very limited. This review scrutinizes gaps rates yield components potato. For cultivation potatoes, smallholder farmers use various fertilizers. Combined application improved growth parameters (tuber number, average weight). Tuber quality such as dry matter starch contents also influenced combined manure. With addition high amount with a certain level nitrogen, gave highest volume marketable total yield. Based report works in different parts world at periods, 31 tons/ha 187.5 kg/ha ideal combinations optimum Hence, order increase availability manure, its should be supported technologies alike inorganic will boost yield, quality, maintain health. These consequences increased interest in biodegradable polymers as potential substitutes for traditional packaging materials. This study aimed to produce characterize k-carrageenan films incorporating Cymbopogon winterianus essential oil, which citronellal was determined be major compound (41.12%). oil presented remarkable antioxidant activity, measured through DPPH (IC50 = 0.06 ± 0.01%, v/v; AAI 85.60 13.42) β-carotene bleaching 3.16 0.48%, v/v) methods. also showed antibacterial properties against Listeria monocytogenes LMG 16779 (diameter inhibition zone 31.67 5.16 mm MIC 8 µL/mL), were observed when incorporated films. Millets are a group of cereal crops that known for their hardiness and ability to grow in harsh environments with limited resources. However, they still face various abiotic biotic stresses can significantly impact growth yield. In recent years, the use engineered nanoparticles (ENPs) has emerged as promising approach alleviating such millets. ENPs particles have been intentionally specific properties functionalities. They often made metals, metal oxides, or carbon-based materials typically less than 100 nanometers size. interact crop plants environment unique ways, making them potentially powerful tool agricultural applications. This review entails several investigations studied mitigating water deficit, salinity, heat, heavy toxicity, etc. millets due changing climate. It shown application improve water, nutrient-use efficiency along better resilience under climatic conditions. also explores potential protect against pests diseases. For instance, publicized minimize reduction caused by fungal, microbial, insecticidal attacks conclusion, circumscribes millet agriculture showing results both stresses. includes insights into uptake mechanism mode action after risks management strategies well. work could substantial on farming future improving yield, resilience, stress studies. is imperative account should be approached caution guided rigorous safety risk assessments.
