Global climate change continues to leave irreversible effects worldwide. With the increase in of change, especially recent years, amount UV-B radiation reaching earth's surface is also likely increase. increasing temperatures, precipitation world has decreased, and drought started alarm. This study tried understand how plants can respond these stresses using ash-leaf maple (Acer negundo L.) sycamore pseudoplatanus species. The stress factors on plant leaf morphology were investigated by applying certain intensities (moderate [T2] severe [T3]) (8 kJ m-2 h-1 [T4] 12 [T5]) two species with T1 (control) treatment. As a result, width A. was at lowest levels individuals exposed T3 T9. In species, leaflet length T1, T2, T3, T4 T5, T6 (modarete+T4), T7 (modarete+T5), T8 (severe drought+T4), T9 drought+T5) treatment 8.800, 8.704, 8.075, 8.792, 8.823, 8.516, 8.317, 7.993, 8.605 cm, respectively. According values, it observed that shortest (7.993 cm) On other hand, close group. more affected than T5 applications applied T3. Therefore, positively affects plant's resistance stress.

Biocomfort, which is shaped depending on the suitability of climate parameters, an important criterion that affects people's comfort, peace, happiness and performance, as well their health. Therefore, determining suitable areas in terms biocomfort using them a base planning residential great importance both human health energy efficiency. In this study, wind, temperature, relative humidity biocomfort, shape situation Ordu, one largest cities Turkey whose population constantly increasing, were determined monthly basis. As result it has been wind speed, temperature parameters are subject study prevent formation to large extent. While speed causes uncomfortable January, February, March, April, October, November December, there where below 15 °C many months, high every month. Suitable account for 0.4% surface area Ordu May, 1.36% June, 1.45% July, 1.77% August, 8.06% September. entire province within scope areas.

Heavy metals are one of the components that threaten human health and ecosystem most among air pollution, which has become a global problem. Sulfur, an important pollutant, is not only serious threat to at high concentrations, but also extremely dangerous for constitutes significant part pollutant load in many cities. Therefore, monitoring change sulfur pollution very important. In this study, usability Cedrus atlantica annual rings was investigated observing air. Within scope samples taken from tree grown Düzce, Europe's 5 polluted cities, were analyzed, concentration past present investigated. As result highest concentrations obtained outer bark north direction. addition, it been found there substantial increase recent years.

The present study aims to identify the most suitable tree species for monitoring and reducing strontium (Sr) pollution. Strontium is a heavy metal that extremely harmful human environmental health even at low concentrations listed as priority pollutant by Agency Toxic Substances Disease Registry due its potential harm. Samples were taken from Pinus pinaster, Cupressus arizonica, Picea orientalis, Cedrus atlantica, Pseudotsuga menziesii grown in Düzce, location reported one of top 5 cities having polluted air Europe World Air Pollution Report. changes Sr concentration over last 40 years evaluated species, organ, direction, age range. results indicate pollution significantly increased traffic sources. This also showed transfer within wood limited all under consideration; hence, these can be used arizonica which have highest capacity accumulate their wood.
