Abstract Potassium fertilizer is essential to ensure crop production and thus global food supply safe fertilizer. resources are mainly located in the Northern Hemisphere, as a result, there currently scarcity of cheap potash severe soil deficiencies some areas Southern Hemisphere. There shift from mined salts locally available potassium resources. such silicates containing K, may be an option improve this situation. The goal increasing productivity improving quality dictates increase availability or efficient use potassium. development plants that more efficiently valuable for geneticists. Nanomaterials increasingly used people's working life new type material, technology gradually being applied agriculture with view yields reduce environmental pollution. This paper reviews applications common potassium-containing materials effects mechanisms nano-fertilizers on plants, also gives outlook future nano-potassium fertilizers agriculture, hopes it can provide reference researchers field.

Abstract This study investigates a rice husk waste‐based filter (RHW‐BF) for the treatment of graywater (GW) and primary treated wastewater (PTW). The RHW‐BF comprises three layers: coarse sand, chemically modified (MRH), gravel. Continuous runs (Run I, II, III) assessed chemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, dissolved turbidity removal. Run (I) GW achieved high removal: 73.7 %, 73.4 74.6 92.6 %. Subsequent showed decreasing efficiencies due to media saturation. Similar trends occurred PTW, with achieving significant 70.3 69.0 44.2 90.2 MRH particles played crucial role in sustainable pollutant compares World Health Organization Egyptian limits, demonstrating its suitability reuse irrigation, agriculture, or sewer discharge.

Abstract Waste activated sludge (WAS) is attracting attention for its energy and resource potential. Anaerobic digestion (AD) can be used to efficiently recover resources stabilize pollutants in WAS, with biochar emerging as an ideal additive boost this process. However, the low abundance of surface functional groups small pore structure raw may limit performance AD WAS. These limitations overcome by using biochar. In review, preparation modification methods role WAS are systematically summarized discussed. Notably, electron transfer, buffering effects, microbial immobilization, alleviation inhibitory modulation analyzed. Additionally, impacts on digestate utilization, pollutant removal, carbon fixation Special given ability promote circular economy neutrality. Finally, future perspectives use presented. The aim review provide insights into application from perspective improvement, economy. Graphical

Carbon emission reduction is an important issue facing the current industrial development. With agglomeration of old bases in Northeast China and high total carbon emission, it difficult to achieve goal neutrality. The objective crop straw biochar preparation utilization research regional neutralization sink function. waste resources were huge, with annual yield about 7.0 × 107 tons which showed increasing trend. development industry significantly reduced emissions environmental pollution caused by burning. At same time, obtained a huge profit 1010 RMB. Because special location conditions China, establishment chain needed multi-angle judgment. will have broad prospect, demand not only farmland soil improvement but also winter heating fuel reduction. This study further increase capacity promote realization China’s neutrality goal, has reference value for other countries world.

Abstract The composite pollution of heavy metals (HMs) and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in agricultural soil is increasingly severe. HMs can undergo surface adsorption, complexation, or chemical reactions to transform from bioavailable species residual species, achieving morphological stability. However, these processes have no effect on PAHs. Biochar (BC), due its inherent characteristics, significantly enhance the stability PAHs recommended as a potential co‐stabilizing material for both In this study, rice husk biochar modified with β‐cyclodextrin chitosan (β‐CD/C‐BC) was utilized stabilize contaminated by Cd Pyrene (Pyr). One‐way tests were conducted dosage curing time after complete cycle treatment. results demonstrated that optimal achieved when β‐CD/C‐BC 7.5 % 21 days. removal efficiencies Pyr found be 84.62 %, 64.22 85.90 65.78 respectively. Additionally, BCR testing revealed could convert into state (from 32 82 %) highest stabilization rate, thereby reducing their migration ability ecological risk.
