Identification of crucial regions in need ecological conservation and restoration based on security patterns is utmost importance for across national land space with regard to China's promotion civilization. Using Changchun, the capital northeast China, as an illustration, study chooses sources ecosystem services, builds pattern using circuit theory, organizes critical restoration. The findings reveal that 20 chosen services are more concentrated eastern side city, whereas western city has a smaller overall area; 41 corridors show network distribution, among which southeast relatively densely distributed; 31 pinch points 15 barrier also identified. Prioritized zones, prioritized protection key general zones were four different types identified by study. Each district's main metropolitan area larger than others; Gongzhuling's priority largest, Yushu's natural substrate best. According grading, targeted solutions suggested, offering helpful advice improvement aforementioned areas.

Habitat fragmentation, a contributor to biodiversity degradation in urbanized regions, will result from rapid urbanization. Due the low quality of habitats and complexity land use high-density cities, traditional ecological corridor development approaches may not be viable for urban contexts. Furthermore, unlike other corridors, width corridors is fixed due very constrained high density structures areas. However, we discovered few studies on how build densely populated Aside that, earlier primarily concentrated identifying potential paths with spatial range typically being determined subjectively. The goal this research was develop an integrated approach determining suitable areas rapidly urbanizing region. Firstly, key species were identified Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (MSPA) applied identify core established city, which then NDVI InVEST construct resistance surfaces. Potential graded importance by Linkage Mapper. Finally, our metric indicators system, four set framework: animal migration, maximum cost-weighted distances animals can migrate, mobility potential, greatest restoration opportunities. Building regional ecological network can alleviate the notable contradiction between land use and development in process of rapid urbanization. Suzhou is center city Yangtze River Delta urban cluster a typical water city, but high intensity has fragmented its space. The study firstly introduced patch generation simulation (PLUS) model to simulate under priority scenario 2032, combining data 2002, 2012 2022 provide basis for construction later stage. Secondly, sources four periods were identified by morphological spatial pattern analysis (MSPA) landscape connectivity analysis, corridors nodes each period screened classified minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) model, gravity hydrological analysis. Then we superimposed sources, corridors, construct an that develop harmony with dynamics. Finally, degree optimization was verified structural evaluation comparison 2022. results indicate (1) largest area among types, good substrate. Under guidance green strategy, woodland grassland areas will slightly increase 2032. overall generally remain consistent 2022, fragmentation be mitigated. (2) A total 23 are identified, mainly located near Taihu Lake, Yangcheng Lake River. Among them, most important source. 76 screened, including 31 22 protected potential mostly corridors. 54 selected, divided into 21 general strategic points, 12 11 restorative points 10 break points. (3) plan forms "three cores, pieces, multiple sources" proposes corresponding refined management measures promote sustainable region. In addition, this aims propose framework coupled simulation, which new ideas similar regions affected urbanization around globe.

Building an ecological security pattern (ESP) can safeguard and improve the structure, functions services of regional ecosystems. Furthermore, it is also one significant spatial methods to mitigate conflict between conservation economic growth. Most previous researches on construction ESP have directly utilized extensive regions forestland, grassland, water area or nature reserves as sources (ESs) without weighing habitat quality (HQ) protection red line (EPRL). The ES Dawen River basin (DRB) was identified through morphological analysis (MSPA) landscape connectivity index. By employing minimum cumulative resistance model (MCR), potential corridor (EC) identified, its importance evaluated by gravity model. Simultaneously, properties HQ (ER) were analyzed. Finally, this paper proposed optimization strategy for in accordance with EPRL. results indicate that: (1) DRB contained 15 important ESs, mainly concentrated mountain forest areas. (2) 105 ECs extracted MCR model, including 35 level 1 corridors 70 2 corridors, which primarily eastern region basin. (3) Based characteristics ER, well EPRL research, "one axis, two belts five zones" constructed control strategies proposed. This research offers some reference environment restoration sustainable development Yellow

Urbanisation affects the health and stability of ecosystem significantly. Constructing a scientific ecological security pattern (ESP) is paramount importance for safeguarding ecosystems within region, optimising spaces, ensuring sustainability. To investigate effect urbanisation on ESP, we utilised Vigour–Organisation–Resilience-Services (VORS) model to analyse changes in (EH) identify degraded areas city Chengdu. In this case study. We used Patch-generating Land Use Simulation (PLUS) Model predict urban expansion trends 2035 evaluate changing ESP. Additionally, minimum cumulative resistance (MCR) circuit theory construct an network facilitate multilayer planning identified source area approximately 4484.29 km2 recovery zone 1608.35 managing EH degradation source. An conservation 987.48 with restricted development outside source, restoration 71.66 mitigate impact were also identified. Seven stable corridors consistent spatial patterns pressure levels six potential await restoration. Based analysis dynamic ESPs, different scenarios simulated 2035. The findings suggested significant variations ESP around 2010 despite rapid environment was partially restored by increasing land controlling its contraction. Therefore, limiting boundaries expansion, accurately assessing are crucial security.

Territorial ecological restoration is an important measure of China's civilization construction strategy. However, one the difficulties in current land space planning to scientifically determine crucial areas territorial restoration. Taking central Yunnan urban agglomeration as a case, from perspective ecosystem service supply (ESS) and demand (ESD), this study proposed scientific solution construct security pattern (ESP) identify at scale agglomeration. The results showed that: (1) ESS ESD had significant diversity their spatial distribution pattern. high-value were primarily located west, whereas middle. (2) ESP was composed 2 kinds sources 3 corridors. In details, area 3.04 × 104 km2 2.60 103 km2, respectively, total length river corridors, potential corridors 1883.78 km, 982.67 km 603.09 respectively. Limited attention has been given to improving carbon storage by identifying ecological conservation and restoration areas (ECRAs). In this research, we proposed a new framework for ECRAs incorporating future changes into security patterns (ESPs), including several models of the Patch-generating Land Use Simulation (PLUS), Integrated Valuation Ecosystem Service Tradeoffs (InVEST), Minimum Cumulative Resistance (MCR) circuit theory. This was applied in Jiangsu Yangtze River Economic Belt, East China. To evaluate effectiveness framework, compared two scenarios: an priority scenario (EPS) where change not considered ecosystem sequestration (ECSS) explicitly incorporated. Under EPS, were 11169.87 km2 221.11 km2, respectively. ECSS, 14768.76 244.89 Carbon will be most likely increase around lakes River, identified key under ECSS more adaptable environmental than EPS. can effectively enhance both function sequestration, providing effective support policymakers landscape management low-carbon development other regions facing similar challenges. meantime, caution is needed possible limitations, such as without adequate consideration uncertainties population, land use, economy future.
