Silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) are widely recognized for their unique optical, electronic, and antibacterial properties, enabling use in biosensing, photonics, electronics, drug delivery, antimicrobial treatments. Green chemistry-based biological synthesis methods offer an eco-friendly alternative to traditional chemical techniques. Among metallic (NPs) metal oxides, those derived from plant extracts exhibit notable medicinal properties. Due exceptional stability low reactivity, AgNPs particularly well-suited various applications. can be synthesized through chemical, physical, or methods, each with distinct benefits challenges. Chemical physical approaches often involve complex purification, reactive reagents, high energy demands, while though slower, provide sustainable solutions. The chosen method strongly influences the stability, size, purity of resulting NPs. This review emphasizes importance selecting appropriate optimize characteristics functionality silver It consolidates research spanning past two decades, including most recent findings 2024. A comprehensive electronic search databases such as PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Cochrane, Google Scholar was conducted up-to-date overview advances applications nanoparticles.
