The perinatal period is crucial for both mother and newborn, mental health, including prenatal postpartum depression (PPD), a significant aspect. Screening these disorders allows early treatment helps prevent risks to child. This prospective cohort study was carried out at University Hospital Obstetrics in Damascus City. first phase during the third trimester of pregnancy second involved follow-up assessment after 6 weeks delivery. Arabic-validated version Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale questionnaire (EPDS) used. A cutoff 13 or higher used determine presence probable assessments. Of 347 pregnant women, 38.6% had (PND). 295 patients have achieved assessment, which 30.2% PPD. Furthermore, 42.6% who PND developed PPD on follow-up. Binary logistic regression indicated that predicted by non-Syrian nationality, paternal absence, poor financial status, number previous pregnancies, history independent pregnancy. PPD, work status. Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a prevalent childhood neurodevelopmental disorder with complex etiology involving genetic and environmental factors, causes impairments across various life domains substantial social economic burden. To our knowledge, study represents the first case–control investigation of Lebanese ADHD patients explore potential correlations between familial, maternal, child health variables enhance understanding aid in prevention efforts. Despite the risks of gestational disordered eating for both mother and fetus, research into this subject is scarce within developing countries, particularly in Lebanon. Our study's objective was to delve predictors attitudes during pregnancy among a sample Lebanese pregnant women while assessing potential mediating effect body dissatisfaction between psychosocial factors pregnancy.We framed cross-sectional study, built on self-report measures. The 9-item Body Dissatisfaction Subscale (BDS) of the Eating Disorder Inventory is one most used tools for assessing thinness-oriented body dissatisfaction in research and clinical practice. However, no validated Arabic version this scale exists to date. In study, we sought validate instrument three samples native Arabic-speaking adolescents, adults, pregnant women from Lebanon.A total 826 555 433 were included. To examine factor structure BDS, performed an exploratory analysis (EFA), using a principal component via FACTOR software on first split-half subsample among Lebanese adults.
