Background Neoadjuvant systemic therapy has been shown to benefit patients with solid tumors such as breast cancer and colorectal cancer, but its application in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is still the exploratory stage, no established effective regimen. This systematic review meta-analysis aims investigate efficacy safety of neoadjuvant resectable HCC. Methods The clinical trials HCC PubMed, Embase Cochrane Library were systematically searched. A was performed using STATA/MP18.0 software, effect size calculated either a fixed effects model or random model, 95% confidence intervals (CIs) calculated. Subgroup analysis according Results included 328 from 15 studies. In HCC, pooled pathologic complete response (pCR) rate 15% (95%CI: 10%–21%), major (MPR) 28% 21%–35%), incidence grade 3–4 treatment-related adverse events (TRAEs) 11% (95% CI: 4%–20%), objective (ORR) 27% 20%–35%), surgical resection 84% 75%–92%), delay 0.00% 0%–4%). results subgroup showed that targeted combined immunotherapy superior dual ICI (immune checkpoint inhibitor) combination monotherapy, while monotherapy highest, ICIs immunotherapy. Conclusion shows preliminarily beneficial outcomes treatment. However, future large-scale multicenter randomized controlled are needed confirm this conclusion. This review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the molecular mechanisms underlying autophagy and mitophagy in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Autophagy is an essential cellular process maintaining cell homeostasis. Still, its dysregulation associated with development liver diseases, including HCC, which one leading causes cancer-related death worldwide. We focus on elucidating dual role both tumor initiation progression, highlighting complex nature involved disease. In addition, we present detailed analysis small subset autophagy- mitophagy-related molecules, revealing their specific functions during tumorigenesis progression HCC cells. By these mechanisms, aim valuable insights into potential therapeutic strategies manipulate effectively. The goal improve response cancer cells overcome drug resistance, providing new avenues for improved treatment options patients. Overall, this serves as resource researchers clinicians interested target innovative therapies aimed combat devastating

Abstract Cnidii Fructus, derived from the dried ripe fruit of Cnidium monnieri (L.) Cuss, has effect warming kidneys and invigorating Yang. This study established spectrum–effect relationships between ultra‐high‐performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC) fingerprints antitumor activities Fructus on human hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG2) cells. In UHPLC fingerprints, 19 common peaks were obtained, 17 batches herbs had similarity >0.948. Cell Counting Kit‐8 (CCK‐8) test, extract significantly inhibited proliferation HepG2 cells to different degrees, showing half‐maximal inhibitory concentration (IC 50 ) values. Furthermore, gray correlation analysis, Pearson's orthogonal partial least squares discriminant analysis performed screen out eight components. The mass spectrum data a comparison with standards revealed that components methoxsalen, isopimpinellin, osthenol, imperatorin, osthole, ricinoleic acid, linoleic oleic acid. verification experiments by testing single compounds indicated these major anti‐hepatoma in Fructus. work provides model combining which can be used determine principal responsible for bioactivity.
