The issue of soil contamination by heavy metals (HMs) has attracted extensive attention. In the present study, effects four remediation measures combined with rice intercropping on quality soils were evaluated in a mildly HM-contaminated paddy field. results showed that better comprehensive found system high and low Cd-tolerant than monoculture system. Both foliar spraying sodium selenite inoculation Pseudomonas TCd-1 significantly reduced Nemerow pollution index (NCPI) soils. application biochar lime increased fertility index. Among all treatments, 30 t∙hm−2 3600 kg∙hm−2 improved most. lowest single-factor indices (SFPIs) Cd, Cu, Zn, Ni Pb NCPI observed treatment at 45 mg∙L−1, showing greatest reduction HMs. 1200 mg∙L−1 effectively quality. Numerous antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) and virulence factors (VFs) found in animal manure pose significant risks to human health. However, the effects of graphene sodium selenite (GSSe), a novel chemical nano-Selenium, biological nano-Selenium (BNSSe), new bioaugmentation nano-Se, on bacterial Se metabolism, chemotaxis, ARGs, VFs remain unknown. In this study, we investigated GSSe BNSSe ARGs expression broiler using high-throughput sequencing. Results showed that reduced pressure during anaerobic fermentation by inhibiting selenocompound metabolism pathways, thereby lowering Selenium pollution. Additionally, levels were lower group compared Sodium Selenite groups, as inhibited chemotaxis pathways. Co-occurrence network analysis identified within following phyla Bacteroidetes (genera Butyricimonas, Odoribacter, Paraprevotella, Rikenella), Firmicutes Lactobacillus, Candidatus_Borkfalkia, Merdimonas, Oscillibacter, Intestinimonas, Megamonas), Proteobacteria Desulfovibrio). The abundance be associated with ARGs-VFs coexistence. Moreover, disruption pathways resulted less frequent transfer VFs. These findings indicate can reduce suppressing

Trimethyl tin (TMT) is a good stabilizer for plastic products but also toxic environmental pollutant. Selenium has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties been widely used in the poultry industry. However, it not reported whether selenium enrichment can antagonize TMT-induced viral hepatitis poultry. To fill this gap, AA broiler models exposed to TMT 42 d were established fed Se-enriched diet at same time. H&E staining showed that could significantly alleviate liver inflammation. Further analysis of underlying mechanism revealed induced nitrosation stress (RNS), increased NO content iNOS expression, which turn activated NF-κB/NLRP3 pathway pyroptosis. reverse situation, is, reduce occurrence RNS, degree pyroptosis, thus In our study, we demonstrated first time induce hepatotoxicity other than neurotoxicity hepatotoxic chickens through RNS/NF-κB/NLRP3 pathway.

The experiment used doses for treatment. Basic diet, no supplements (control); diet plus 10mg /kg Se (Se10); 20mg (Se20); 30mg/kg (Se30); 40mg/kg (Se40). results show that addition significantly increases content improves utilization capacity(P < 0.05). However, it also negatively affects growth performance other nutrients. optimal level supplementation should be determined to balance enrichment with overall health productivity fly.
