BACKGROUND Digital mental health interventions (DMHIs) are capable of closing gaps in the prevention and therapy common disorders. Despite their proven effectiveness approval for prescription, use rates remain low. The reasons include a lack familiarity knowledge as well lasting concerns. Medical students were shown to have comparatively higher risk disorders thus an important target group raising awareness about DMHIs. At best, is already imparted during medical school using context-sensitive information strategies. Yet, little known students’ preferences regarding OBJECTIVE This study aims explore DMHIs personal among Germany. METHODS A discrete choice experiment was conducted, which developed exploratory sequential mixed methods research approach. In total, 5 attributes (ie, source, delivery mode, timing, recommendation, quality criteria), each with 3 4 levels, identified formative research. Data analyzed logistic regression models estimate preference weights relative importance attributes. To identify subgroups varying preferences, we additionally performed latent class analysis. RESULTS Of 309 participants, 231 (74.8%) reliable data included main analysis (women: 217/309, 70.2%; age: mean 24.1, SD 4.0 y). In study, 336 Italian workers (64% female) answered an online questionnaire. We employed structural equation (SEM) analyze data. The results unveiled indirect relationship: individuals perceiving risks were more inclined stress-management apps, mediated by perceived utility (PU). underscores significant potential of integrating HBM with TAM in predicting users’ preparedness for smartphone-based interventions. These findings not only hold substantial value but also illuminate path forward professionals organizations, offering insights tailor optimize smartphone tools management promotion workplace well-being.
