This study examines the possible cardioprotective effects of hydroalcoholic extract from Satureja hortensis L. (HASH) in rats with isoproterenol (ISO) induced myocardial infarction. The were pretreated orally low (200 mg/kg), high dose (400 and metoprolol (10 their respective groups 30 days, followed by two subcutaneous doses (ISO).
