Furthermore, decomposition model is applied identify contributing higher areas compared areas. In settings, 39% individuals suffer obesity or overweight issues, 37% cardiovascular diseases. results indicate people who spent most their adulthood are significantly more likely develop diabetes (β = 1.5), CVDs 1.3), high cholesterol 1.2), with p-values <0.001. reveals factors, along environmental elements such as pollution lack green spaces, contribute increased influences by fostering unhealthy daily habits promoting sedentary lifestyle, which leads health problems, chronic

Tribal communities pay least attention on chronic illnesses. Aims: To estimate magnitude of anemia with their correlates among adult tribal population in Eastern India. Settings Design: community-based, descriptive study cross-sectional design was carried out Hirbandh block, Bankura, West Bengal. Methods Material: The involved 210 participants, selected through cluster sampling, collected information house-to-house visits, interviews, clinical examinations, anthropometry, lab investigations. Statistical Analysis Used: done help MS Excel statistical software SPSS 20.0 version. tests were used P value ≤ 0.05 considered 95% confidence interval. Results: One-fourth participants found to have diabetes almost 23% had hypertension. Prevalence anemic 57.1%. Diabetes associated age, gender, occupation participants. Hypertension age educational level, marital status, occupation, body mass index, waist–hip ratio. related joint family, intake green leafy vegetables. So, present study aimed to determine proportion of DD and associated factors skills among PWD. Cross-sectional was conducted 596 clinically stable, ambulatory PWD visiting NCD clinic tertiary care centre North India between June 2023 January 2024 recruited using systematic random sampling technique. primary dependent variable assessed Hindi version Diabetes Distress Scale (DDS). Coping GlucoCoper scale. Independent variables included socio-demographic history variables. Bivariate analysis described sample characteristics. Multivariable binary logistic regression explored affecting DD. The ethically approved, written informed consent obtained from patients. participants, 17.4% depicted uncontrolled diabetes, 18.1% experienced moderate severe DD, depicting highest prevalence (23.8%). Significantly increased odds living professionals compared Clerical, shop-owners, farmers monthly average income (vs. group unstable income), tobacco users, those disease. Overall, scores for negative were higher than positive coping, significant differences two types participants underscores complex interplay control, distress, mechanisms patients attending an screening clinic. findings highlight need holistic approach management that addresses not only physical aspects also patients' psychological well-being.

The introduction of GLP-1 analogs in the Indian market holds great potential for diabetes and obesity management, yet their widespread adoption is hindered by several challenges. These include limited long-term data on cardiovascular renal safety, high costs, lack outpatient insurance coverage major drugs, side effects, drug availability issues, healthcare professionals' (HCPs) reluctance to prescribe them. In a country where many patients pay out-of-pocket financial planning inadequate, these barriers are further amplified. This study, involving survey 250 patients, explores multifaceted landscape analogs' acceptance India. It examines dimensions such as financing schemes, access strategies, internet trading, impact biosimilars pricing. By addressing gaps discussions around discounts, rebates, profits, price transparency, research aims identify key factors that could facilitate early market. study advocates comprehensive strategy encompassing coverage, patient-centric programs, effective branding, improved availability, increased public awareness, dissemination safety HCPs. holistic approach enhance accessibility anti-diabetic anti-obesity products India, ultimately benefiting large segment population struggling with conditions. fostering deeper understanding among HCPs seeks pave way successful integration innovative therapies into system.
