Abstract Ice accretion causes significant energy losses and safety risks across various sectors. Recent research shows that liquid‐like surfaces (LLS) with ice‐shedding properties can be created by covalently attaching linear polymer chains onto smooth substrates sufficient hydroxyl group densities. To expand the substrate scope for LLS, a novel system using non‐halogenated organosilanes attached to commercial epoxy‐silicon ( EpSi ) coating is proposed. The layer, easily applied simple methods, serves as intermediate layer R = 0.94 nm q 0.76 nm). Air plasma activation increases density on , enabling LLS formation via immersion in an organosilane solution. resulting exhibits low contact angle hysteresis (<10°), sliding (SA < 14°), ice adhesion strength τ 20 kPa). Effective generated regardless of type, thickness, or application method. retains its slippery after exposure harsh conditions, including icing/deicing cycles, organic solvents, acidic environment. It also highly transparent T ave 84.5%, t 500 µm) self‐cleaning anti‐staining capabilities. This methodology broadens offering sustainable solution challenges.

Abstract In this study, Lallemantia royleana mucilage (LRM) based edible coating containing 1.5 × 10 8 and 3 9 CFU/mL Lacticaseibacillus casei XN18 (Lbc1.5 Lbc3) was designed to improve the quality shelf-life of fresh pistachio. The pistachios were coated with LRM + Lbc their physicochemical, microbial, sensory properties evaluated after 1-, 5-, 15-, 25-, 35-day storage at 4 °C. By end day, in comparison control, presence probiotic isolate (particularly led a marked decrease fungal growth (3.1 vs. 5.8 Log CFU/g), weight loss (6.7 8.1%), fat oxidation (0.19 0.98 meq O 2 /kg), preserved total chlorophylls (8.1 5.85 mg/kg) phenols (31.5 20.32 mg GAE/100 g), antioxidant activity (38.95 15.18%) samples during period. Furthermore, Lbc3-coated had number above recommended level (6.85–9.29 log CFU/g) throughout storage. probiotic-enriched coatings greatly accepted by panelists. next section, Gaussian Process Regression (GPR) used for predicting some parameters including: loss, TSS, Fat content, PV, Soluble carbohydrate Viability, Total phenolic compounds, Antioxidant activity, Mold yeast, chlorophylls, carotenoids, Color, Odor Overall acceptance. results indicated that, there is good agreement between actual predicted data GPR model it can be similar situation cost laboratory tests increase respond analysis.
