This study presents a green synthesis approach for the fabrication of zinc oxide-silver nanoparticles (ZnO-Ag-NPs) using Punica granatum fruit peels extract as natural reducing and stabilizing agent. eco-friendly method offers sustainable alternative to conventional methods that often employ toxic or hazardous chemicals. Antibacterial anti-cancer activities synthesized were then assessed in vitro. X-ray diffraction confirmed production ZnO-Ag-NPs with increasing crystallinity higher pH values. The found be agglomerated spherical Ag-NPs. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) spectra revealed broad band ranging from 400-1 530 cm-1 reduced intensity compared ZnO-NPs, indicating formation Ag-NPs on surface ZnO-NPs. exhibited potent antibacterial activity against spectrum bacterial strains, particularly Gram-positive bacteria, superior inhibition Moreover, showed dose-dependent anti-proliferative effect colorectal-, lung-, cervical cancer cells. significantly greater efficacy inhibiting cell growth at lower concentration 31.25 μg/mL, ZnO-NPs which required over 500 possibly due presence silver (Ag-NPs). results obtained this demonstrate potential approaches therapeutic nanomaterials treatment, well other biomedical applications.
