Abstract Objective Estimate the prevalence, and associated risk factors, of high school students who are considered at for an eating disorder based on screening measures. Methods An electronic search nine databases was completed from their inception until 1st September 2022. A random-effects meta-analysis conducted, confounder (moderator) analyses meta-regressions examined whether overall prevalence estimate screen-based disordered (SBDE) moderated by student age, BMI, or gender, as well culture type SBDE assessment. Abstract Objectives The present study sought to examine the factor structure, reliability, validity and gender invariance of Arabic Body Appreciation Scale (BAS-2), its two short forms (the 3-item 2-item BAS-2SF) among community Lebanese Arabic-speaking adults. Methods We carried-out an online cross-sectional survey. 10-item BAS-2, functionality appreciation scale Eating Attitudes Test-26 were completed by 826 adults (57.9% females, aged 25.42 ± 8.44 years). Results 10-item, BAS-2 converged on a one-factor solution, demonstrated high internal consistency (McDonald’s ω value .92, .88, .86 respectively). All indices suggested that configural, metric, scalar was supported across gender. BAS-2SF highly correlated with original (r > 0.9). Higher scores significantly strongly more positive eating attitudes greater appreciation, higher positively weakly BMI, supporting convergent validity. Conclusion work contributes literature providing psychometrically sound Arabic-translation short-forms, benefitting both researchers clinicians.

The risk of developing an eating disorder among university students is higher than the general population in Bangladesh. Since psychiatric disorders (such as depression and anxiety) addictive behaviors (e.g., internet addiction) predominantly exist country, these may increase their vulnerability to disorder. association addiction, depression, anxiety with Bangladeshi relatively unknown; therefore, this study investigates association. This was a cross-sectional design. Students (N = 700) from two public universities Bangladesh completed Patient Health Questionnaire (PHQ-9) scale, Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD-7) tool, Orman's Internet Addiction Survey (OIAS) measure exposure variables. Eating Attitudes Test-26 (EAT-26) assessed outcome variable. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that addiction [adjusted odds ratio (aOR) for moderate 2.15 severe 3.95], depressive (aOR 3.04), 2.06) symptoms were associated increased participants.
