Based on embodied cognition theory, this study employs a mixed-method approach of grounded theory and fsQCA analyzes the influencing factors configurational paths for tourists’ happiness in metaverse tourism. The results indicate that tourism, is influenced by three dimensions body, perception context. body dimension includes such as fatigue, like immersion context gamification. Purpose Although the metaverse has been widely adopted in developed countries, there not any research investigating implantation of this highly transformative technology emerging economies and disadvantaged regions, such as Tunisia.
