Purpose While prior research has established that traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a risk factor for violent offending, there little understanding of mechanisms may underpin this relationship. However, there remains limited research examining risk for offspring recidivism in this regard and mechanisms underpinning relationship. The present study examined dual systems imbalance as a potential mediator using the first three waves of Pathways Desistance data. Generalized structural equation modeling was used test direct indirect effects interest. Results criminal history predicted both increased re-offending frequency. Aggressive behavior among adolescents has been identified as a serious worldwide problem, especially when combined with trait impulsivity. This study investigates the impact of an overlooked aspect language, namely, metaphor comprehension, on impulsivity and aggression in adolescents. A total 204 completed self-reported questionnaires assessing underwent tests familiar less comprehension. The findings reveal inverse relationships between comprehension both aggression.
