Abstract The green methodologies of nanoparticles with plant extracts have received an increase interest. Copper oxide (CuO NPs) been utilized in a many applications the last few decades. current study presents synthesis CuO NPs aqueous extract Morinda citrifolia as stabilizing agent. leaf was mixed solution copper sulphate (CuSO 4 ·5H 2 O) and sodium hydroxide catalyst. UV–visible spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM, EDAX analysis were performed to synthesized NPs. Particle size distribution measured dynamic light scattering. highly stable, sphere-like, particles from 20 50 nm. Furthermore, as-formed shown strong antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria ( Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus ), Gram-negative Escherichia coli ). revealed similar trend analysed for antifungal activity. zone inhibition fungi evaluated Aspergillus flavus (13.0 ± 1.1), niger (14.3 0.7), Penicillium frequentans (16.8 1.4). According results this investigation, may be used biomedicine replacement agent biological applications.

Abstract The green synthesis method which is aligned with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) theory, proposed to synthesize ZnO nanoparticles using ginger extract treat acidic wastewater and factory effluent as a current challenge effects of concentration extracts on synthesized nanostructures are investigated. results declare that single-phase hexagonal formed less than 25 mL crystallite size NPs increased increasing extract. Also, significant morphology (nanocone, nanoflakes, flower-like) particle demonstrated. low leads formation while flower-like structure gradually completed by Furthermore, changes in specific surface area (SSA) samples observed (in range 6.1–27.7 m 2 /g) variation best SSA related 10 strong effect reflectance spectra NPs, especially UV region proved. indirect (direct) band gap energies obtained 3.09–3.20 eV (3.32–3.38 eV). photocatalytic activities for degradation methylene blue indicate impressive efficiency it reaches up 44% 83% prepared 5 pH 4.3 5.6, respectively. This study provided new insights into fabrication practical application high-performance photocatalysts degrading organic pollutants an solution.
