As a result of serious pollution in the water environment, sewage disposal has been receiving lot attention from industry. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) attract interest adsorption and separation due to their complex structures easily adjustable pore sizes. Magnetic MOFs inheriting advantages both large surface area easy recovery have great potentials pollutants. This paper reviews recent research progress on ions, dyes other contaminants by different types (magnetic non-magnetic MOFs) magnetic composites (Fe3O4@MOF) aqueous environments. The factors affecting pollutants, thermodynamic kinetic effects are discussed with detailed examples. Finally, challenges opportunities for further development elucidated.

In order to maintain the optimal operating temperature of battery surface and meet demand for thermal storage technology, management system based on phase change materials has attracted increasing interest. this work, a kind core-shell structured microcapsule was synthesized by an in-situ polymerization, where paraffin used as core, while methanol applied modify melamine-formaldehyde shell reduce toxicity improve stability. Moreover, three different types heat conductive fillers with same content 10 wt.%, i.e., nano-Al2O3, nano-ZnO carbon nanotubes were added, generating composites. The microcapsules uniform, not affected fillers, which evenly dispersed around. composite sample (10 wt.%) showed highest conductivity 0.50 W/(m K) latent 139.64 J/g. Furthermore, according leakage testing charge/discharge experiments, compared Al2O3 ZnO, addition remarkably enhances ability from 126.98 J/g prepared 125.86 one then J/g, well dissipation performance cooling effect decreasing 2% 12% microcapsule, presents broad application prospect in energy field.

The greenhouse effect and global warming, driven by the accumulation of pollutants, such as sulfur oxides (SOx), nitrogen (NOx), CO2, are primarily caused combustion fossil fuels volcanic eruptions. These phenomena represent an international crisis that negatively impacts human health environment. Several studies have reported novel carbon capture, utilization, storage (CCUS) technologies, promising solutions. Notable methods include chemical absorption using solvents, development functionalized porous materials, MCM-41, impregnated with amines like polyethyleneimine. technologies demonstrated high capture capacity thermal stability; however, they face challenges related to recyclability operating costs. In parallel, biodegradable polymers hydrogels present sustainable alternatives a lower environmental impact, although their industrial scalability remains limited. This review comprehensively analyzes CO2 methods, focusing on silica-based supports, polymers, hydrogels, emerging techniques, CCUS MOFs, while including traditional bibliometric analysis update field’s scientific dynamics. With increasing investigations focused developing new this study highlights growing interest in eco-friendly alternatives. A 903 articles published between 2010 2024 provides overview current research environmentally friendly technologies. Countries United States, Kingdom, India leading efforts field, emphasizing importance collaboration. Despite these advancements, implementing sectors gas emissions scarce. underscores need for public policies financing promote application sectors.
