Photocatalysis plays a vital role in addressing environmental remediation and energy generation. Carbon quantum dots (CQDs) represent superior category of photocatalysts devoid metals, boasting remarkable electron transfer capabilities, up-conversion photoluminescence, non-toxic properties. Notably, CQDs can function independently as or become part composite photocatalytic materials. Light‐emitting diodes (LEDs) are widely used in lighting and display applications. Carbon quantum dots (CQDs), which have high biocompatibility, resistance to photobleaching, full‐spectrum luminescence, inherent advantages as fluorescent materials for LED devices. Herein, multicolor CQDs prepared by a new reagent engineering strategy due the difference of effective conjugate length surface electron‐withdrawing groups CQDs.
