In the context of urban Asia, where air quality degradation poses significant challenges, role green infrastructure in enhancing emerges as a crucial avenue exploration. This study delves into complex interplay among key variables-traffic density, vegetation coverage, and improvement—within Asian context. Leveraging quantitative methodology, research draws insights from 300 respondents representing diverse countries. Quantitative analysis collected data unveils intricate relationships between these variables. The findings shed light on positive correlation higher density enhanced quality. Furthermore, underscores importance coverage mediator that amplifies improvement presence abundant infrastructure. traffic adds complexity, revealing unexpected correlations require further exploration to grasp nuanced dynamics. context, densely populated cities often grapple with poor quality, this contributes evidence-based planning policymaking. By quantitatively unraveling infrastructure, improvement, equips stakeholders for fostering sustainable liveable environments. As strive balance growth environmental concerns, inform strategies harness potential pave way cleaner, healthier, more resilient across Asia.

Abstract The steady growth of cities alters the urban environmental pattern and functions, posing significant challenges to ecological as well governance. Under this setting, analyzing relationship between services is critical for management policy-related sustainable development. primary goal research analyse dynamic urbanization its influence on ecosystem via changes in LULC Mangaluru city agglomeration, India. For five decades (1980,1990, 2000, 2010, 2022), service values (ESVs) are analysed using remote sensing data Geographic Information System (GIS) techniques corresponding with global value coefficient (VC) estimate total (ESVt) individual function change. study shows that declined by US$ 116.89 million 85.14 due 9.54 63.44% decreases agricultural land wasteland/shrubland 1980 2022. Abstract With the orderly progression of urban renewal in China, social capital, as an important factor analyzing relationship between stakeholders, has once again become a key topic planning research. Green spaces have proved to more notable impact on capital than other built environment factors. In light this, present study is based data 1,282 residents’ questionnaire surveys conducted Nanjing 2022 and extracts spatial characteristic information green space through multisource big such remote sensing data, street-view points interest, investigate influence mechanism physical perceived attributes community capital. The found that there are differences mechanisms dimensions these dual direct effect perceptual substantial, while almost exclusively affect indirectly perception space. Notably, among attributes, only total coverage neighborhood vegetation considerable relations, whereas sentiment, willingness participate, larger aggregated do not enhance effectively. Lastly, affected substantially by exogenous variables socioeconomic group differentiation. Results reveal direction optimization from perspective promoting which provides reference for synergistic high-quality development community’s nonphysical environments.

Abstract Urbanization is accelerating rapidly, highlighting the critical role of aligning with sustainable development goals, urban green and blue spaces (UGS UBS). These play a crucial in enhancing health well-being city residents terms ecology. Acknowledging importance ecology, this study utilizes Sentinel-2A data support vector machine classification, aimed to identify UGS UBS. To examine connections between UBS, specific indices, spectral bands, textures were calculated. Additionally, concentration chlorophyll, vital indicator ecological health, was assessed using three indices. Structural equation modeling employed elucidate relationship UBS their impact on chlorophyll for years 2017 2023. In model, exhibited positive path coefficient (0.25) chlorophyll-a, indicating that an increase associated levels. Conversely, 2023, turned negative (− 0.83), presenting stark contrast model. This shift suggests potential environmental or changes, such as alterations quality type spaces, potentially including more non-native ornamental plants contribute less overall can be subjected pollution, soil compaction, other stressors reduce plant health. Similarly, showed its from − 0.99 1.8 suggesting improvements cleaner water planning strategies at reducing pollution. The consistent across both bodies are not contributing Chl levels due complex interactions surroundings. However, further research essential delve into these dynamics comprehend implications sustainability.

Green development is key to promoting high-quality regional development. Chengdu Plain Economic Zone (CPEZ) stands as the primary area for Chengdu-Chongqing twin-city economic circle. This study constructed an evaluation system green level, selecting 33 indicators from three dimensions: environment, lifestyle, and economy. Through application of entropy-TOPSIS method, Pearson correlation analysis, geographic detector, level urban agglomeration 2013 2022 was evaluated, well coupling coordination relationship analyzed, driving mechanism affecting region explored. The results show that: (1) overall in research continues improve 2022, with average annual growth rate 5.11%. There spatial heterogeneity among cities. (2). coordinated degree (CCD) has steadily improved, however, still a low-level stage coupled Among them, Ziyang, Suining, Mianyang, Ya’an exceeded 2015, 2017, 2018, 2019 respectively, entering (3). factors include GDP electricity consumption, per capita length water supply pipelines, percentage added value secondary tertiary industries GDP, resources, population density. differences these explain over 50% To promote CPEZ, policy recommendations are proposed: Firstly, optimize environmental governance. second encourage technology innovation circular third strengthen economy, allocation resource elements, enhance radiation effect agglomerations, drive integrated CPEZ.
