Abstract Background Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a powerful tool in many sectors including healthcare education. ChatGPT is widely used generative AI model among learners and teachers globally. In Zambia, there no information regarding the use of students. Therefore, this study assessed pharmacy students' perceptions at University Zambia. Methods This cross-sectional was conducted from February 2024 to May students Zambia using structured questionnaire. The questionnaire based on validated TAME-ChatGPT survey instrument determinants attitude usage health Perception four items grouped into single variable comprising primary measure dichotomized “positive” vs. “negative” perceptions. Results A total 385 responses were obtained, with 358 participants (93.0%) who heard before study, 303 (78.7%). univariate analyses, following factors significantly associated positive perception ChatGPT: low perceived risk (P=.009), anxiety (P=.010), high score technology/social influence (P<.001), latter factor being only influencing multivariate analysis (aOR: 2.908, 95% CI: 1.752–4.825). Regarding for use, usefulness significant (P=.013). Conclusions results showed widespread highlighting its increasing role part educational process. Abstract Automated vehicle acceptance (AVA) research has grown substantially in the past few years. There is a paucity of on role big five personality traits attitudes towards automated vehicles (AVs) and AVA. This critical shortcoming given that considered factor explaining technology adoption. Our major theoretical contribution integration most popular measure – one influential models Unified Theory Acceptance Use Technology (UTAUT2). A questionnaire was administered to 9,339 respondents from nine countries predict behavioral intention use conditionally (CondAVs). The original UTAUT2 extended by trust driver engagement openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, neuroticism. Structural equation modeling applied examine direct effects these constructs indirect independent UTAUT2. results have shown positive social influence, trust, performance expectancy CondAVs. Most hypotheses pertaining were supported, but relatively small (< 0.25). findings support usefulness evaluating success AVs, providing crucial insights into factors driving cross-country analysis provides further an individual’s for study yields important implications practitioners. Given effect sizes personality, designing CondAVs around personalities their customers during development commercialization may be ineffective promote acceptance.

Background The use of ChatGPT among university students has gained a recent popularity. current study aimed to assess the factors driving attitude and usage as an example generative artificial intelligence (genAI) in United Arab Emirates (UAE). Methods This cross-sectional was based on previously validated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)-based survey instrument termed TAME-ChatGPT. self-administered e-survey distributed by emails for enrolled UAE universities during September–December 2023 using convenience-based approach. Assessment demographic academic variables, TAME-ChatGPT constructs’ roles conducted univariate followed multivariate analyses. Results final sample comprised 608 participants, 91.0% whom heard while 85.4% used before study. Univariate analysis indicated that positive associated with three constructs namely, lower perceived risks, anxiety, higher scores technology/social influence. For usage, being male, nationality, point grade average (GPA) well four usefulness, risks use, behavior/cognitive construct ease-of-use construct. In analysis, only explained variance towards (80.8%) its (76.9%). Conclusion findings is commonplace UAE. determinants included cognitive behavioral factors, ease determined These should be considered understanding motivators successful adoption genAI including education.

Purpose This study used extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use Technology (UTAUT) model to examine the effect personal expectancy (PE), efforts (EE), social influence (SI), facilitating conditions (FC), hedonic motivation (HM), price value (PV) habit (H) on behavioural intention (BI) use Chat Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (ChatGPT) in higher education for an Indian context. The also examined moderating effects students’ self-innovativeness (SIN) integrity (INT) relationship between BI behaviour (UB) ChatGPT. Design/methodology/approach A sample 311 students has been selected from Northern states India by applying stratified proportionate random sampling method four disciplines – engineering, business administration, science fine arts were as different strata selection process. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) approach data analysis assess proposed theoretical model. Findings found PE, FC, PV H significantly account actual ChatGPT, whereas EE, SI HM showed a negligible impact BI. was non-significant predicting usage moderation SIN INT UB. Research limitations/implications limited size its focus constrain generalizability findings other parts world. Originality/value helps understand nuances associated with advanced artificial intelligence (AI)-driven tool such ChatGPT application best-practices. Therefore, this aims bridge gap examining determinants version UTAUT context using additional constructs INT.

Abstract Since the emergence of ChatGPT, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become increasingly integrated into society, making it essential to understand how individuals perceive and interact with it. Given AI’s inherent ambiguity uncertainty, this study examines relationship between attitudes towards AI ambiguity. A survey 554 Japanese participants was conducted using questionnaires, including Attitude Toward scale (ATAI) scale, which assesses two key dimensions: acceptance fear, along Multidimensional Attitudes Ambiguity Scale. Findings indicate that version ATAI developed for first time in study, demonstrated strong internal consistency, test-retest reliability, validity. Psychometric properties were supported by usage, willingness use AI, expected correlations personality traits, aligning prior literature. Text-based predictions natural language processing reinforced finding, showing significant associations scores. This is examine relate ambiguity, revealing Need complexity Novelty, Discomfort predict fear. Absolutism positively correlates both. These results are inherently complex multidimensional, offering insights effective sustainable engagement as an ambiguous agent.
