Considering the current challenges posed by energy structural transformation on remote islands, technical and economic assessment of a hybrid renewable power system were performed considering Huraa Island Maldives as case study. This work models discusses possible configuration modes based varying combinations diesel power, solar photovoltaic (PV) wind battery storage. For each mode, effects installed capacity penetration (RP) levelized cost electricity (LCOE) analyzed. Furthermore, compared, optimal operation schemes developed RP, LCOE, CO2 emissions. The results suggest that use high-rated PV is owing to its high RP low LCOE. However, when available, rating 1000 kW an solution, followed 500-kW rating; storage used, 4000 kWh ideal. Moreover, it unnecessary combine with these <53% acceptable. recommended maximum available approximately 96% using 1800 PV, wind, system.

Solar energy has become crucial in producing electrical because it is inexhaustible and sustainable. However, its uncertain generation causes problems power system operation. Therefore, solar irradiance forecasting significant for suitable controlling operation, organizing the transmission expansion planning, dispatching generation. Nonetheless, performance can be decreased due to unfitted prediction model lacked preprocessing. To deal with mentioned issues, this paper proposes Meta-Learning Extreme Learning Machine optimized Golden Eagle Optimization Logistic Map (MGEL-ELM) Same Datetime Interval Averaged Imputation algorithm (SAME) improving of incomplete time series datasets. Thus, proposed method not only imputing data but also achieving accuracy. The experimental result dataset Thailand indicates that achieve highest coefficient determination value up 0.9307 compared state-of-the-art models. Furthermore, consumes less than deep learning model.
