Bufei decoction (BFD) is used in clinical practice to treat bronchial asthma (BA), although its molecular mechanism of action remains unclear. This study aimed explore the BFD for treating BA. Network pharmacology and docking predicted analysis results were verified using ELISA kit RT-qPCR. There 58 main active components 121 potential targets from Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database Analysis Platform( TCMSP), 11 core obtained protein-protein interactions(PPI) network. The gene ontology (GO) found that treatment BA with was mainly related inflammatory reaction, membrane raft, cytokine activity, etc. Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes (KEGG) pathway enrichment showed it interleukin (IL)-17 signaling pathway, tumor necrosis factor (TNF) PI3KAkt ingredients had strong binding ability targets. significantly reduced TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β increased level IL-10 rats also mRNA PI3K, AKT1, VEGFA while increasing TP53 rats. network methods predict ingredients, targets, pathways possible mechanism, which provided a theoretical basis further study.
