Submarine control rooms are characterised by dedicated individual roles for information types (e.g. Sonar operator processes sound energy), with individuals verbally reporting the that they receive to other team members help resolve uncertainty in operational environment (low integration). We compared this work design one ensured critical was more readily available all (high used Event Analysis of Systemic Teamwork (EAST) method analyse task, information, and social networks novice teams operating within a simulated submarine room under low versus high integration. Integration impacted member centrality (importance relative operators) nature shared. Team greater reported higher workload. Higher integration across consoles altered how interacted their status, shared, workload distributed. However, overall network structures remained intact.

Pilot situation awareness (SA) regulates flight safety, and inexperience may impair novice pilot reliability in SA. This study aims to determine the key influencing factors of SA analyze interrelationship interaction mechanism factors. We investigated 55 pilots trained at aviation schools identified factor index system by Delphi survey. The method Decision Making Trial Evaluation (DEMATEL) combined with Adversarial Interpretive Structure Modeling (AISM) was adopted. results show that: (1) includes 18 factors, divided into four categories: individual team task human-machine cockpit environment (2) Team communication, cooperation, basic cognitive ability, interface design, occupational age experience, authority gradient are six crucial former three have greatest association other while latter most likely affect (3) design root-cause which communication is fundamental. (4) DEMATEL AISM consistent, both disclosing as fundamental highest priority, environmental direct but susceptible present can be viewed a conducive attempt extract vital SA, provide ergonomic insights for determining priorities improve training aircraft safety.

This paper develops a novel approach to addressing the distributed situation awareness (SA) consensus problem for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) swarm systems. SA is an important condition gaining decision-making superiority. However, because of complexity and antagonism mission environment, widely employed centralized architectures are unable reach consensus. We address this urgent issue by proposing systematic scheme, including optimization-based reaching model, dual-loop framework, coordination algorithm. Necessarily, we conduct convergence analysis on proposed The effectiveness superiority method verified comparative simulations.

ABSTRACT Emergency management operations are a complex system involving multiagency hierarchical command structures requiring coordination of significant volumes information, resourcing and effort across expansive disaster zones within restricted timeframes with potentially catastrophic consequences. Within these environments establishing timely shared understanding among different levels agencies is crucial yet remains challenge. The problem subsequently framed as ʻhow can the establishment systems‐level common operating picture commands be improved in context emergency response?ʼ To address this, we present Maaloop Framework which builds upon insights gained from previous research threat assessment, sensemaking, critical decision‐making police, military, ambulance, firefighting contexts. observer trained its application, it aims to provide an instant, point‐in‐time, global detailed visual intelligent product (i) amount information identified by decision makers at each location; (ii) how confident those application resolve incident; (iii) maker adjacent using being fed them. In turn, will assist improving individual collective regardless position hierarchy or agency jurisdiction. We submit that does no more than describe constructs concepts literature describing industries broader study field psychology. Therefore, this framework intended solution initial basis for increased communication crisis events.

Situation awareness is vital for effective decision-making in emergency rooms. This study developed and validated the "Situation Awareness Emergency Room" questionnaire using a 6-month mixed-methods approach. Initial qualitative methods identified key components through interviews focus groups, followed by quantitative validation with 569 respondents across 77 hospitals Bali. Confirmatory factor analysis demonstrated excellent model fit (Root Mean Square Error of Approximation = 0.045, Comparative Fit Index 0.96, Tucker-Lewis 0.95) strong loadings (>0.60). The effectively measures General Awareness, Perception Environment, Understanding Situation, Projection Events, providing reliable tool clinical assessments quality improvement.
